Attention, everyone! Stop whatever you're doing right now because this is 10x more important! Consider this a special PSA from Sheryl Nome.

Chocolates are supposed to be a symbol of love and commitment, right? That's what I always believed. Before arriving here, I learned they come in two forms:
a gift between two lovers, or romantic chocolate
a gift between two friends, or courtesy chocolate

But now I learned there is a third form: chocolate assigned to us for delivery by a group of the most unprofessional, incompetent idiots!

Recently I asked that same group of idiots a few questions about a certain incident. Why was there no warning labels on these chocolates? Why were the people who ate them suddenly the targets of these ugly monsters?

Do you want to know what they said? I'll summarize that for you in three words: "we didn't know."

Who the hell do they think they're talking to?! I can't take this level of idiocy!

In the end, there's very little difference between harm by design and harm by negligence.

Whatever the intention was, we ended up doing the exact opposite of our purpose.

Worlds where those in charge are either ignorant of the hurt they're causing, or are doing so purposefully.

are you saying you've traveled a lot and experience all of that yourself, or you come from there?

I knew of other worlds well before this place, and this is the third one I've inhabited, personally.

I don't know about other dimensions. Seen the term "multiverse", but that's it.

The worlds I was initially aware of belonged to the same universe.

Apparently, there's more than one. Hence multiverse.

it's not everyday something like that gets my interest

I was brought to a world where we were said to be collected from across the multiverse.

People came from wildly different worlds.

like... is it creepy?? can you see a real ocean and trees from there? are any of the buildings holographic?

It was a digital world. People were rendered with something called "soul data", whatever that is.
