Kija is gone. I can tell that he's not here.

Really, has no one found out the reason behind disappearances like this? If anyone knows what's happened to him or has hurt him in some way, you'd better come forward now before I discover this later. I won't have any mercy towards someone like that.

Who can tell me anything about this? Anyone?

Sorry to hear it. Even if we didn't get along, I liked him-- he's a good kid. If you're the type to drown it out, I'd buy you a bottle of your preference. If you aren't, I wish you well in your other coping mechanisms.

I'm more curious if you noticed anything yourself, or if you wouldn't have been able to with how little you spoke with him. Did anything seem strange? Had he tried to contact you? Was there no sign at all?

No, or I'd have contacted you. I found an active prayer, it went wrong, and he suggested we part ways. This is the first I've heard of it.

[He's not the type of person to reply with more snapping, as much as he feels angry and upset. It wouldn't help, it's not very beautiful, among other things... He's too bothered by that answer. He doesn't know anything, so he can't help. There really is no way of knowing what happened to him.]

I will if it does, but I doubt. He's a very consistent character.

What do you mean by that?

I mean, all of our interactions went basically the same way, so if something was different or off, I probably would have noticed immediately, rather than in hindsight.

I'm sorry, but if you keep speaking about Kija as if he's some distant thing to analyze, then I won't be able to stay calm.

If you're grieving, and I assume you are, trying to remain calm is the worst thing you can do. Not worth the effort.

Grieving isn't like you, either. It's a special circumstance... normal rules don't apply. Nobody is like themselves when grieving. Personally, I haven't been myself for a very long time. Anger and yelling both spend energy. So does crying. They're not productive, so to speak, but at least you're doing something. Not letting what you feel go unexpressed. In a way, it's almost in honor of the departed? It's stupid, but there you go.

...I've always preferred soaring, myself. I appreciate your efforts in this. Sorry, I'm normally more calm than this.

I won't leave anything unexpressed. The connection between gods and shinki make it difficult to keep anything to myself, anyway.

On your side it does. We get a little more leeway, because they like us better, I suppose. I think most people would prefer it, if it was something they could do.

Perhaps... But you "gods" have to shoulder all of this. I'm not sure that I would say they have any sort of preference.

Oh, I meant the soaring thing. I'd prefer that.
