I understand a shinki is a weapon for their god. Are there other responsibilities included with that title?

How can I be more useful to my god?

If your god is the type to help other people, they could help you find other things to do with yourself. And trust me, there's plenty of people here who'll be only too ready to try and drag you into new things, whether you ask them to or not.

Spoken like someone who's had to deal with people dragging them around.

You don't know the half of it. I don't understand what motivates them to do it, but the fact is that they do it, and it's just as likely it'll happen to you as to me.

I wouldn't understand it either. Maybe there is no reason.

Maybe. It could just be that they want people to be happy. I've met others like that before. But it's not always as simple as pushing them into new things.

I don't understand people like that.

I do, I just think they're naive. But it's hard to begrudge someone wanting something like that.

I think I'd just feel lost around those people.

I think a lot of people would. But if you're having trouble finding yourself and things to do for yourself, people like that might at least help point you in the right direction.

Then meeting with people like that might be necessary.

It's your choice in the end, but if you do plan to become more of your own person, then it will be.

I'm not sure I know what that's like.

It probably feels different to everyone. People all have a different self, so you being your own person will be different to someone else being their own person.
