I thought she'd made a nice "sorry you're dead" present. I'm currently on my way to the pet store to pick up supplies and food and such, but as soon as I'm done there you'll get to meet her.[Plus Kuwabara won't have to subconsciously miss Eikichi this way, and adopting is both less hassle and likely less expensive than bribing Yoruichi to hang out in cat form.
Really, though, Kurama's just glad a cat turned out to be a good idea.]
