Has anyone ever woken up and found something completely random in their temple?

I didn't ask for him or anything. He just showed up this morning, from my home, I'm guessing.

Usually cats are different colors, yeah.

What, all of them? Or is it 'cause he's male?

[Jellicent are differently colored depending on gender, and there's those slug things from Sinnoh, but all in all Pokemon color morphs are not a thing]

What does him being male have anything to do what color he is?

I don't know, that's how it works with Jellicent. And uh...Shellos in Sinnoh, they're different colors dependin' on which side of the mountains they live on. Weird species.

But outside o'them, Pokemon that're a different color from normal are really rare. I've never even seen one!

I know that! I talked to Ginti about his cat for like half of that whole big thing we had. [you know, that thing] But animals are like your versions of Pokemon, yeah? Except no moves and not as smart?

I... guess so? [ uhh ] But a different-colored cat doesn't mean it's more rare than another cat or anything.

Huh. [He considers that for a moment, then shrugs. Too bad she doesn't have a super-cool rare cat, but whatever.] More variety! That's cool! I met a guy once who said he'd seen a yellow Mightyena before, but people talk bullshit like that all the time.

Aw, c'mon, you know I wouldn't mind if you did that! Just make sure he doesn't end up in the ocean!

[The Sharpedo wouldn't eat him - it'd be pretty shitty to let his wild temple Pokemon consume anyone else's animals that wandered in - but he's not so sure they wouldn't bully him some.]

Even if I were that careless, he'd probably beat up whatever was in there.
