I have a sneaking suspicion I could find the answer to this by going through the archives, but let's give me the benefit of the doubt and say I want to be as accurate as possible and allow for new people's responses, or else opinions evolving over time... any shinki out there who wish they were gods? Or the reverse, gods who wish they were shinki? Why do you think you got the better and/or worse deal?

Devil's advocates welcome; I may indulge in it a bit myself.

[ Schuldig uses his powers to get a lock on Balinese's location, and then plans this out meticulously in a span of 10 seconds, during which he hopes that the man is gawking at whatever device he was using to read their text conversation.

He teleports in, a healthy five feet away against the nearest wall where the eldest Weiss can see him. ]

Now I'm a God.

[ And he IMMEDIATELY teleports back out again, because he wants to listen for the pure powerlessness punctuating the man's mind as he cackles on his way out. ]

[Whatever else might be said about Youji, an assassin's reflexes are not to be screwed with. His watch wrist is up and the wire is flying out before Youji can fully comprehend that Schuldig was there, let alone that he'd gone just as quickly as he came.]
