With the closing of Lady Minerva's Temple and the closure of classes temporarily, I wanted to make an announcement that I will be teaching Shinki Techniques at my lady Bishamon's temple.

Classes would be hold Monday through Friday from 5pm to 7pm, with additional classes upon request if you desire private tutoring. The classes will feature the basics such as perfecting Borderlines, preventive measures, as well as casting spells using song. I think another way to explain what I mean would be single worded sayings that would produce an desired effect? For instance I know a few spells that could encourage or force another shinki to fall asleep.

I do not mind training you one on one, but for a few "courses" will require additional shinkis.

Indeed... Lady Elsa was one of the more recent departures and with her absence her temple was removed. Until further notice classes are temporary suspended. I believe Hakkai has better answers then I do if you seek more information.

I do not intend for it to be a school. I'm not teaching multiple courses on various subjects. I am only providing some basic knowledge on techniques that older shinkis would of passed on, if things were going normally.

Indeed! Besides the single word incantations, Shinkis can convert poems into a song format and have access to more difficult spells.

I wasn't aware that we could learn any more than the borderline. And mine could use a bit of work as well... I'm interested in learning everything I can, so I'll try to show up as often as I can.

Most of the times it depends on your god's older shinkis to do the tutoring but with all the rebirths and such- most of the new god's left with just as new shinkis. There's not many of the older crowds that take to the bulletin boards or offer assistance.

This is all volunteer classes, so attend when and how often as you wish.

you mentioned "songs" up above to someone else, and that they're poems to be used as spells. are they well-known poems, like something written by Ariwara no Narihira or Ono no Komachi? or are they something thought up of on the spot?

also can gods teach their shinki about borderlines and poems and things?

Well known poems are often used as combative, though I prefer to use ones that are deemed as "ancient" with today times. It makes it a bit difficult to find a counter song to.

Gods can teach shinkis about borderlines and about songs, but sometimes it is just better for shinkis to teach fellow shinkis. A familiarity I suppose?

If you want to be of any use to your god, yes. Though if you wish to be entirely useless and of no benefit then by all means, remain as you are.

It isn't necessary at all. Most of my classes would be based on how quick individuals pick up on the spells. Some pick up the courses quick while other struggle.

By Shinki Technique I mean that I will be teaching you some basic spells and songs to help you along with your duties and life.
