I have the weirdest relationship with the Shinki owned by the HeavenS. Their faces say: We have like a dozen questions we want to ask you, but we won't ask because:

-You probably can't answer because you died and don't remember anything.

-If we ask, then you'll probably get curious and you've already tried to run away like twice, so we already know you are.

-We can't answer any of your questions, mainly that we have no clue why you didn't reincarnate properly.

But otherwise, they're kind of nice? But they're also really distant and their smiles are usually fake when they're not... scared or concerned? I won't ask them anything because of that, really.

Anyway! Yeah, I died, make fun of me all you want. Since I kind of know I was a god by accident, I guess I should apologize to my Shinki. I don't quite remember you and it's better if you don't tell me, but I'm really, really sorry. I hope your new gods are nice to you.

Also, if anyone has free time, can I ask for a favor? Seriously, I've been stuck here, it's boring!

Wow, you're really cheery! I'm glad I asked for a phone on slightly good behavior to just with people :D

A few more days, I think. They're predicting more Gods and Shinki at their doorstep soon to shuffle around. Can they really predict that?

I wonder if it's really bothersome to them that what they consider weird Gods/Shiki don't follow their rules of dying. Then again, I'd just be a kid-sized god and still wouldn't remember.

This is awkward.

Yamato spoke to Hisoka after he came back a god, although their conversation wasn't... the most civil. But he hadn't been directly involved in Hisoka's death. Otegine, on the other hand... it may not have been his fault, but he was still present, and now Otegine's lost his memories. That, to Yamato, is the only negative thing about being a shinki--and he's not even sure if it really is negative, or if it just makes him uncomfortable.

Either way, they should... probably talk. But Yamato is terrible with words in situations like this, so he struggles, and ponders, and aimlessly presses buttons, before he finally settles on a message.]

And they were friends, weren't they? Here in heaven, regardless of what happened in the past. But does that remain true now? Maybe Otegine won't even want to speak to him without that tenuous connection from history. And, more selfishly, does he want anything to do with Otegine now? He hadn't stayed close because he'd wanted to know about the past, and there are others around who instill that sense of nostalgia in him, but...

It's a lot to think about. And Yamato hasn't quite mastered the art of composition, so all of those thoughts end up in one of his stream-of-consciousness messages.]

The one thing that remains of the old me, who might have known you but now we don't know, is his dying wish to forgive someone or something that really hurt him. I don't quite understand it, from what I'm getting he wasn't a very hateful person and had people who cared about him. Like you.

It's in a tucked away area but still in their territory, and I guess it's what an inn would look like. There's a few of them, I'm kept at the one that's the farthest back.
