It seems strange that I should only come to you all when things are rough, but that appears to be my sole duty as of late.

I must start this message by apologizing for the behaviors of my brother. His actions were unwarranted and chaotic and I should have seen something like this coming from him. I'm embarrassed to say that we had no idea of what he was scheming, and for all the loss of life and the damages I am truly, greatly sorry.

That said, it pleases us to no end that so many of you new gods and shinki have worked so hard to protect our home and to clean up after the disaster that befell us. We are truly grateful to have good souls like you here with us. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

Know that we do not plan to punish the other party involved in the destruction that has happened here. We had detained him and are keeping him under close watch for your safety as well as his own. Please understand that we have made the best choice that we can.

Again, we apologize for what has happened and we hope to be able to curb anything like this from ever happening again.

[which is probably hard to believe considering the masterful show of dodging he just displayed, but living with Asaka and her throwing knives absolutely meant learning to dodge them too.

And he's going to do that silly thing of also just talking out loud to the other person in the room again:]

[He gave Ren a look that pretty much said he'd rather break his arm again then learn how to throw cards. So he just maintained that eye contact, picked up the phone, and typed.]

[Sad day. But he can recognize a hopeless cause when he sees one, so he raises a hand and waves it in surrender.]
