It seems strange that I should only come to you all when things are rough, but that appears to be my sole duty as of late.

I must start this message by apologizing for the behaviors of my brother. His actions were unwarranted and chaotic and I should have seen something like this coming from him. I'm embarrassed to say that we had no idea of what he was scheming, and for all the loss of life and the damages I am truly, greatly sorry.

That said, it pleases us to no end that so many of you new gods and shinki have worked so hard to protect our home and to clean up after the disaster that befell us. We are truly grateful to have good souls like you here with us. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

Know that we do not plan to punish the other party involved in the destruction that has happened here. We had detained him and are keeping him under close watch for your safety as well as his own. Please understand that we have made the best choice that we can.

Again, we apologize for what has happened and we hope to be able to curb anything like this from ever happening again.

i'm glad that we could be of help!! ٩(｡•ㅅ•｡)و it's important that we all stick together and ensure that everyone is safe and happy!! on that note i spoke with that man briefly about what he did, he said that he made the ayakashi not pay attention to humans?? i think that's actually a good idea, but what happened afterwards was bad and mean (◞‸◟；) hurting others is not something gods should do!!!

do you not plan to punish who was responsible because he is your brother? please dont take this the wrong way i was just wondering how the gods here sanction anyone who affronts heaven or is citizens, if it has to do with relations or status or not.... [ The Amaterasu she knows of legend wouldn't take shit from her brother, so. Yeah. This is a bit confusing. ]

Hello, Kochiya Sanae, I am glad to hear from you.

While Susano'o may have had a good idea in attempting to keep the ayakashi away from humans, there is no proven way to do so. In fact, controlling ayakashi at all is strictly forbidden by our laws.

Susano'o will get his just punishment, though I do believe it may have been delivered to him without our actual intent. We will also be keeping a close eye on his reincarnation, just in case.

ooooh, controlling them sounds like that could easily go wrong. but what about some sort of lure? to draw them away from humans?? i apologize if these are silly questions, i'm just not sure what's allowed and not allowed in this world!! ヾ(ﾟдﾟ)ﾉﾞ

can you please explain what his punishment was or will be?? ｡(*^▽^*)ゞ i was busy fighting those dragon creatures, so i'm not quite sure what it was. (,,꒪꒫꒪,,)

The only lure that ayakashi tend to fall for is the scent of a god. I am not willing to delegate that task to any of my people, as I'm sure you would not be willing to take it on yourself either.

Susano'o was disemboweled by his own shinki. I do not believe he lived long after that. I think that is a good enough punishment in and of itself.

This sort of thing has happened only once before. But we are not yet sure just how closely related these two incidents are.
