I hate having to do this. I want that on record.

You can thank those in charge for this. If they had provided a pamphlet or some other information on how we're supposed to adapt to these duties, I wouldn't be here. As it is, I have no choice but to ask the following questions.

... They sound worse than they are, I promise. Anyway,

1. Is anyone here the goddess Chichigami-sama? I'm not quite sure how to phrase this. If you are, would you please come talk to me?

2. If you are not Chichigami-sama, are you a mother? If so and if you have the time, please talk to me.

3. If you are not Chichigami-sama or a mother, are you a woman? Specifically one interested in children. I need to know about... sensitive aspects of it.

4. If you are none of the above but have been assigned/are a god of the opposite gender and have advice on how to deal with followers of the opposite sex, I'm open to listening. I... I've already gotten a request I'm not physically equipped to know how to answer.

5. If you're a man I don't need you. Please keep the inevitable gross comments to a minimum.

I don't know how to answer that either. Maybe she's been eating a lot of passionfruit? Cut back on it?

That's what I said. She said she's only been eating pumpernickel for the past two months.

Honestly, this sounds like something to consult a doctor over.

Doesn't it? She wouldn't listen, though. I think she expects me to heal it or something. No matter what she'll be disappointed.

Do you really think pumpernickel would make something smell like passionfruit?

I'm not sure that's something that can be healed by magic.

The human body can be really weird. It's a possibility.

You mean like how garlic helps toothaches? Or how carrots are supposed to help your eyesight?

(That one's false, by the way. I should know. I wear glasses.)

I'm not a doctor. Still, it might be worth changing her diet of it's bothering her this much.

It's easy enough to research that, at least. Though I don't know why she couldn't just look it up herself.

Anyway, thank you for your help. I wasn't expecting such a helpful response so quickly. I've heard the internet can be a very hostile place.

We're all here together. I think it's better to help each other out whenever we can.

That's an admirable way to think. I certainly support it.

Unfortunately there's usually unruly pests who have the opposite intention in mind. It's sad but it's best to keep your guard up.

I've only run into a couple of them, but it's not like they're going to change how I act. Maybe if I keep being helpful they'll be more inclined.

Yeah, it is. But you'll still probably break through to a few. If anything, they should be more helpful to you. Even if they're troublesome, it's always better to have allies.

I don't have the patience for it.

I definitely agree with that. When you're in a pinch more allies means more options.

I can get along with most people, I think.

That's a valuable skill. One of my juniors was particularly adept at it back home. It makde him excellent at compromises. Truth be told, I envy it sometimes when my own discipline methods prove useless.

You just need to deal with people in different ways to really get through to them. The way I work with some people would never work with others.

It just depends on the person. If you know them well enough that makes it easier to pick up on what drives them.

You probably already know that though.
