Um.. hey!

[ Although Minako smiles, there's something a bit muted about her. If not just for the fact that the volume of her voice currently isn't rupturing your eardrums right away with the greeting. ]

I thought I should let everyone know, since a lot of people know her.. But it's probably going to be difficult to reach Zelda for a while. Because she's asleep! And, you know, not just "doesn't want to get up in the morning" asleep. More like.. "sudden spring hibernation" sleep? Which is something that.. sometimes happens, I guess!

[ It's fine. This is fine. It's fine! See, she's smiling. Totally cool. ]

I guess.. until she wakes up, I'm going to try and take care of Metis temple affairs. [ Sure, Natsuru is there too, but Minako is the Exemplar! Not to mention Minako does have a natural leader sense - despite her lack of memories - and a huge sense of responsibility. It comes natural to try and take the whole world on her shoulders if needed. ] So if you need anything.. just let me know instead!

[ What a fitting temple for such a Princess....!! The doors ensure only the clever and therefore worthy may enter!

But Hibiki did not gallop here on horseback to be impressed by Zelda's puzzle game origins. She has come to draw the curtains on this tragic scene.

And tragic it is. Enough to strike even the one who has arrived to awaken the damsel! ]

Princess Zelda....

[ She kneels by the sleeping princess's side, reaches for her hand. ] What sort of dream are you seeing in your solitude?

[ Her expression is exquisitely tortured. ]

[ Tortured indeed. It's a feeling Minako can truly relate to right now, even if she's feeling it with much less of a display of dramatics compared to the usual.

(It does make her wonder if this is just how Hibiki displays every emotion ever. She was still kind of dramatic even after she was seriously upset about her big plan failing, huh..?) ]

Someone mentioned that she could be dreaming about the place she comes from.

[ Sure, Hibiki's question was probably entirely rethorical, but Minako would feel much Too Awkward just standing there silently and watching this without giving any input. She's not a stalker.

.. not usually, anyway. ]

That could be it.....

[ (Yes and no, Minako. Hibiki displays every emotion ever by either overfeeling it or slamming a lid on and having absolutely no reaction. There is no middle ground. There is never, with Hibiki, a middle ground.)

In any event, Hibiki has heard of such dreams. She's even possibly experienced some herself, though since no goats filmed her she can't be sure that's what's happened. ]

If that's the case, awakening her from such reverie is regrettable. Yet the Far Shore is in too bleak a state to be deprived the presence of one of its few shining goddesses.

[ Hibiki stands. Looks about. Incidentally, how...large is this room...? ] Our objective remains.

Uh..

[ For a moment Minako doesn't properly reply yet other than that single noise. Because she's kind of surprised Hibiki could say that so easily - the part about the Far Shore not being able to be deprived of a shining goddess. Because.. there's a selfless part of Minako that's so glad Zelda might be able to see her own country again, even if just in her dreams, and a selfish part of Minako that wants her to wake up and talk to her again so badly. She could never voice the latter as easily though.

She shakes her head, trying to shake herself out of it and get to The Important Matters. ]

Right.. What kind of idea did you have?

[ The bedroom they're currently in is a bit bigger than a regular apartment bedroom - it's kind of on the cozy side, especially for what one might expect a princess' or godess' bedroom to look like. ]

To awaken the slumbering ideal, one path alone suffices.

[ Hibiki slides a hand into her lapel pocket. ]

Taking direct action myself—

[ That hand draws forth her microphone. ]

I SHALL DAZZLE HER AWAKE WITH MY PERFORMANCE’S SPLENDOR!!!

[ A spygoat bringing up the rear twirls around with a basket of gold confetti on its back, thereby tossing the fluttering contents into the air. This seemed maa-ppropriate. ]

[ Minako has absolute faith in Hibiki. Really. More than some people do in this place, at least, considering some of the conversations she'd had with people about Hibiki before.

But maybe it's this particular scenario, or maybe it's Minako's particular mood.. But somehow she doesn't feel a whole lot of faith now. Sure, Hibiki is great, but waking up Zelda with a performance..?

Then again, she's desperate. And willing to try absolutely anything. ]

Ah.. Yes. [ Sorry for the lack of the usual enthusiasm, Hibiki, it will return in due time.. At least Minako is trying her darnest over here to politely smile. ] I'd be eternally grateful if you could do that.

[ Even though all this means she's going to have to clean up that confetti afterwards!! ]

Very well.

[ Hibiki snaps her fingers, and a spygoat with a turntable attached rolls up. ] Prepare “Pure Amore Love.”

[ Yes, Maa-ster! The goat whirs in place. The lights dim.

But the goat plays techno instead of the usual maa-ccompaniment. It has been working hard on this maa-rangement! It hopes the high energy helps the lady wake up.

Hibiki blinks, twitches, then.....decides this suffices. No matter the instrumentals, Shikyoin Hibiki’s grandeur is absolute!

She merely adds a disco ball to her illusion and keeps its reflected light trained on herself. ] Now, Princess! The dawn has come!

Heed the call of the sun - and awaken!!

[ And the performance begins. God Apollo, for a limited engagement.

Surely none could resist a show such as this! ]

[ Well, at least Hibiki is multi-talented as usual - who else could possibly make a techno serenade? (Minako doesn't even realised it's even more impressive since it's improvised, since she's way too busy with her worries about her goddess.)

But at least she does pay attention to the serenade itself. She puts her hands together (although weakly) like she's trying to figure out whether she's supposed to clap along to show interest, but.. that's kind of hard with a techno song.. so in the end she just stands there awkwardly.

Minako keeps half an eye on Hibiki, and half an eye on Zelda to see if she shows any signs of waking.. But the longer the song goes on and nothing happens, the more any last shred of hope is leaving Minako.

Although she at least tries to be appreciative when the song ends. ]

A.. Ah, that was great as usually, Hibiki. [ Still lacking energy... ]

Of course. [ Hibiki doesn’t let this lukewarm reception phase her. All her focused hopes are trained upon the distressed damsel. ] And now....

[ Pleased with herself, Hibiki turns to Princess Zelda expectantly and waits.

And waits.


And waits.






An eyebrow twitches. But it’s not on the Sleeping Beauty. ]

[ At least this helps Minako somewhat, even though it's very noticably not helping Zelda at all. Sure, Minako still feels like shit. And all of this feels incredibly pointless.

But at the same time, there's that slumbering instinct that tries to please the people around her she likes so much that's starting to awaken when she notices Hibiki's eyebrow twitching like that.

And that's enough to give her a bit more energy, regardless of her mood. She can't disappoint both Zelda and Hibiki here, that's too much for one day. ]

Ah, maybe it's just.. slow working! [ Hence why she doesn't sound as dead inside for a moment while she quickly makes up an excuse. ] I'm sure no one could ignore a performance that great..!

[ Hibiki is struggling to understand the situation. Minako’s explanation is more plausible than such impossibilities as “it didn’t work”, but.....But.....!

The Far Shore’s system - is terrifying indeed. ]

How deep is the enchantment laid upon her....?!

It seems like it's pretty powerful..

[ And that answer is one Minako would give even aside from wanting to please Hibiki by telling her what she wants to hear. There's no way Zelda would do this sort of thing voluntarily without telling anyone, and in Minako's - very biased - eyes Zelda is very strong-willed, so for something to keep her down like this..

She mulls it over while looking at Zelda for a moment, but then turns to Hibiki instead, looking uncharacteristically shy. ]

Um.. I know it's probably a lot to ask since I'm sure you have so much to do, but.. if there's something out there that could help her, you might be one of the few who could find it. [ Sure, Hibiki is kind of the local village drama queen, but she's competent! Even outside of Minako's fawning, considering the amount of followers Hibiki has gathered. ] Could you maybe help look into it..? I'll fullfill any favor you need in return.

soon she shall create celebwidth, a roleplay platform for fancy people....

A supplementary solution, hm...

[ To hasten the results of this song, or cancel the Far Shore’s interference. Hibiki nods: Minako’s proposition aligns with her own interests, and is therefore especially appealing.

Besides, it’s not as if there’s anything she cannot achieve! ] Not to worry. I’ll cast aside the veil enshrouding Princess Zelda without fail.

[ Minako smiles weakly. ]

Thank you. [ Sure, she doesn't have a whole lot of hope that Hibiki will find something, but it is true what she just said - if there is some potential solution, surely Hibiki could find it. It's just not very likely that there is one other than to wait it out. ]

I'll try to take care of her the best I can in the meantime. I promise.

[ This is a suitable division of labor. Hibiki hereby accepts it!

And to free the pining young lady from the shackles of despair binding her, she grants Minako a reassuring smile. Hibiki is on the case. All will be well... ]

The Princess Zelda will awaken to your beloved face. I envy her eyes, whose first sight after their trials will be you.
