Um.. hey!

[ Although Minako smiles, there's something a bit muted about her. If not just for the fact that the volume of her voice currently isn't rupturing your eardrums right away with the greeting. ]

I thought I should let everyone know, since a lot of people know her.. But it's probably going to be difficult to reach Zelda for a while. Because she's asleep! And, you know, not just "doesn't want to get up in the morning" asleep. More like.. "sudden spring hibernation" sleep? Which is something that.. sometimes happens, I guess!

[ It's fine. This is fine. It's fine! See, she's smiling. Totally cool. ]

I guess.. until she wakes up, I'm going to try and take care of Metis temple affairs. [ Sure, Natsuru is there too, but Minako is the Exemplar! Not to mention Minako does have a natural leader sense - despite her lack of memories - and a huge sense of responsibility. It comes natural to try and take the whole world on her shoulders if needed. ] So if you need anything.. just let me know instead!

Do you need any help, Miss Minako? I'm pretty good at chores.

[ Minako is so determined to use this as an opportunity to show off what she can do and just how responsible she can be, so she's been trying to turn down a lot of help, but.. this offer is very tempting. Helping specifically with something she's bad at? That'd be a big help. ]

Ah.. Really, you wouldn't mind helping out? I'm not too good at those things.

I wouldn't mind at all. It could be sort of, partial repayment for the lessons in things I don't understand or know that you keep giving me.

[ You gotta repay your debts right? Though he just generally has nothing against helping out now and then. ]

Right. That sounds good. [ It also makes it a little easier to accept the help at a time when her pride doesn't really feel like allowing her to do as much.

She hates how hard it is to show appreciation well enough when she's in this state, so she scrapes together what little of her mind she can keep together right now, and adds-- ]

It'd be.. kind of nice, anyway. To have you around, I mean.

[ Not that she's sure whether Obi will understand as much when he didn't even understand why people are nice to others by default, but still. ]

[ Yeah the whole "people being nice by default" is a bit strange. Not completely strange, but it's not the default setting he expects of people. ]

All right! Right, so would you like me to come over right now? I'm not busy at the moment, anyway.

Huh, right now? Are you sure?

[ It doesn't sound like a protest as much as she just seems surprised. She didn't expect this level of helpfulness. ]

I don't want you to feel like you have to do this, or anything..

Like I said, I'm not busy. I have some time before I start work later on. Besides! You're not making me feel like that at all, Miss Minako.

Ah.. Then I'm glad. [ Even though she's not sure Obi could ever feel bothered by anything. Has she ever seen him even remotely close to bothered? Surely not. ]

Then you can definitely come over. I hadn't even gotten to today's chores yet with everything going on.

[ Obi can feel very bothered. But he prefers to hide it, when he does. So even if he was, hopefully she would never know. ]

Alright, I'll be right over then~!

[ voice>action, handwave, log? ]

[ When Minako knows that he's coming over, she finally manages to peel herself away from Zelda's side. After all, she can't exactly open the door for him while she's down in the temple, and she doesn't wish having to figure out the puzzle to get the door open on anyone.

So she makes her way up the stairs and out of the temple itself, waiting by the koi pond outside for Obi to show up. She seems rather sunken off in thought though, just squatting down by the waterside and staring at the fish. ]

[ Obi is very fast when he wants to be (and instinctively, he does), so it doesn't take all that long for him to find his way to Zelda's temple. He has the map of the Far Shore in his mind so he knows the best way to go.

He slips out of a tree, and heads over to Minako. He knows he's silent when he walks but she doesn't even seem to be trying to notice him before he's there. ]

Miss Minako? Are you sleeping with your eyes open?

Hm?

[ She doesn't seem very startled by Obi's appearance, despite seemingly not having paid any attention to him approaching at all. Another sign that she's out of it, really, since Minako is usually so over the top emotive. ]

Ah.. No. [ Minako quickly shakes her head a little. ] Sorry, I was just thinking about something.

[ A lot of things. ]

Should we go inside?

[ Miss Minako sure needs a restart. A cold shower, maybe. Those can help in waking you up. Unfortunately it's not raining right now, and he doesn't know if it's raining heavily anywhere in the world right now. (Presumably it does, but he doesn't know how to find out.)

Obi tucks his hands behind his head, lacing his fingers together. ]

Alright, Miss. Yeah, sure. Where do you want me to start? Do I need a tour first or do I just need to know where your supplies are and go from there?

[ The question is pretty simple, but since Minako is indeed so out of it, it takes her a moment to even think of an answer and give it, shaking her head a little. ]

I should at least show you around first. [ If she'd just put him to work without anything like that, she'd feel bad about it, okay. Even though he voluntarily offered. ] Here, follow me.

[ And after a beat she opens up the temple's puzzle door before leading him inside - down the stairs, since the temple is actually below the ground. ]

Uh, I'm not sure what kind of chores you prefer to do..

[She is free to take her time. Meanwhile, Obi will take in what he sees from where they are. ]

If you think that best, Miss. [ He will follow, then. And curiously eye what she's doing by the door. What a strange lock that is, he thinks. ]

I don't really mind any, so you can put me to work where you think it might be most needed as you like.

Well, we should probably get rid of some of the dust and spiderwebs.. [ Because of course Zelda would happen to fall asleep on the big cleaning up duty day, right. Their temple usually doesn't look all that bad, really! ]

You could probably easily reach them, right? Since you were hanging in a tree like it was nothing before.

[ Nah it's fine, really, he's not worried about some dust and webs. He sleeps in trees you know? Spiders build their nests near him sometimes. ]

I shouldn't have any problems with that, climbing is easy Miss, you should try it more often and you'll see.

[ Not everyone are as agile as he is though, which might be something to keep in mind. }

[ Don't worry, Obi, one day Minako will remember that rooftop jumping is just one of her usual nighttime hobbies. Someday. ]

Ah, really? [ She smiles at him, but it's really, really weak compared to the usual "look, the sun is rising right on her face" Minako smiles. ] Maybe I'll try it sometime when I have more time again.. It'd be kind of hard to do while Zelda is like this.

[ That's a hobby worth remembering, it's unfortunate to forget it.

Yeah Miss Minako is really off right now. Does that normally happen when a shinki's god goes comatose because he can't imagine that happening to him. ]

I suppose it might be, but in the meantime you have me for the jumping and climbing.
