This morning I was woken up by my dear Inoshishi no Ino nuzzling his face into to my armpit. What a wonderful awakening, today is simply the best day!

A wild boar from home. He's my friend and I've been missing him sorely. Perhaps I somehow managed to bring him here with my god powers?

Not a pet, a companion. I saved him from being eaten by a giant snake and he refused to stop following me around.

I really don't think any other wild boar would climb into my bed and proceed to start cuddling me aggressively. Also, he responds to his name.

Well, he doesn't blight me when I hug him, so I highly doubt that. And if he doesn't blight, then I don't see what the ayakashi would have to gain by giving him to me; it's not as if his memory causes me any pain.

Considering the last time I did a prayer, Ekko didn't actually do that much? I don't think shinki are all that necessary for prayers. It's the ayakashi that are the problem.

But you can't kill ayakashi without a shinki.

Then I guess I'm still Hermes, since Ino cannot speak to name a shinki.

...your cat has a friend? Why do you think I want them to meet? Ino's going to outgrow Motoki in a few month anyway, so it's not like she's going to be a good sparring partner or anything.

If you can provide a closed environment I'll think about it. Our garden already needed to get upgraded fence, because Motoki almost got away and lost.

I doubt they make cat-proof fences, but I also think you're being needlessly paranoid. Cats tend to be very smart and able hunters, and it's not as if there are cars here that would run her over.

I have a house. Is that closed enough for you?
