Someone please, please chime in. You agree that this isn't healthy, right? I'm not the only one, right?

Public shaming is perfectly warranted in this instance, right?!

[attached is a photo of Hat Kid. She looks confused. In one hand she holds a bottle labeled "Meatball Wine." In the other, a sign. It says "I got caught drinking marinara sauce and apparently do so 'some of the time."]

[Yes. This is basically a pet shaming picture]

When has public shaming ever been useful for anything? Leave the child alone.
cloakedinruins: (y r u like dis?)

You act like I actually find those cute. I don't.
cloakedinruins: (should i ignore it)

I suppose you can view it that way. I just never saw the point of shaming an animal. It would be like shaming a planet. You can't scold the movement of tectonic plates or water spouts, why shame an animal for acting on its nature?

Definitely a waste of that kid.

Oh please. I bet you don't know the meaning of the word minions. I have minions.

[Oh, really?]

[Zetta returns fire in kind; his video displays him standing in front of a dozen different minions all bearing weapons and doing their fiercest battlefaces. And also three Prinnies.]

Yeah, hi.

Yo, dood!

How's it going, dood!

Dood, aren't those Hibiki's?

Methods of "discipline" involving public shaming only lead to trauma (which, at this point, I actually suspect you're going for) and/or resentment.

But does marinara have alcohol in it?
cloakedinruins: (tsk you silly)

[ Sighing so much right now. Even if he wasn't human this was still like arguing with one of his more bloody minded students over the level of points graded per paper. ]

You say that as if trained animals never break their training to do something before.

If she's an alien maybe it's no problem for her health then. Plus there's a possibility of large differences in cultures. You could settle the dispute by looking over the disadvantages or advantages of it with someone who knows medicine and stuff and could find those sort of things out.

It's not like it's going to be diluted as it increases or something, though.

...Have some pride. They're Hibiki's.

[Zetta makes an aggressive face. Why would Snatcher WANT spygoats? If they wandered into one of Zetta's traps, he'd burn the trap!]
onedrinkwithme: (hmmm?)

[personal profile] onedrinkwithme 2019-01-27 07:18 pm (UTC)(link)
Is it harmful in large doses?
cloakedinruins: (a = b)

[ Even in his most mildest form of a polite human professor, Shen Wei really got short with rule lawyers. ]

How does being consistent affect how animals or people behave? If nine times a person does a does not mean that the tenth time they will still do a. The varieties and variables of the environment means that no one moment will be as same as the next.
