Looking for part time work? Interested in assisting with prayers across Japan? The God of Fortune, Ebisu, is hiring for multiple positions at his temple. Applicants with skills and/or knowledge in office support, customer service, technical support, languages, agriculture, manufacturing, and fishing are highly welcome, though all skill levels are welcome to apply.

Hours are flexible, pay starts at 4000 yen/hour. Higher rates can be negotiated depending on skills/knowledge. No naming required. Additional benefits include on-site meals, travel options across Japan, and training in shinki spells.

Speaking more candidly, any help is welcome. Even if you can only spare a few hours you will be properly compensated for your time and do a great service to the temple. The majority of work is office-based, but there are plenty of field opportunities too.

It's self-serving since it's my temple, but the people are good and need help.

Also it's hard finding work when you have no ID and can't fill out other paperwork and people barely remember you once you're out of sight.

I'm also hoping the pay sweetens things.

FYI full-time pays more but I'm not asking anyone to work that.

Well, uhm. There's Happy Singing Hood Report: Magical Stage, which... also exists in my world somehow. [Let's not think about that too much.] And I also play Destiny: Great Union, Delicious Dream, and this one about anthropomorphic girls based on firearms and other projectile weapons called Cannon Collection... but most people call it CannColle...

I'd go with the parallel world theory and not think too much on it. I'll have to check it out. Same with Destiny. I don't have as much time to play but I was really into Idolamagika: Aurora Theater and still roll on sets from time to time. Same with HiT Destiny: Girls Rock Ball.

I really like CannColle. Emuniyo is my favorite.

Emuniyo is cute, but my favorite is Tommy-chan. She's just so cool, even if she's incredibly old fashioned. And of course, I've never been able to roll for her.

But I see. I'll have to look those games when I get a chance.

She's pretty high on my list too. You should have heard some of the screaming in the office when her White Day card came out.

I didn't get her. Even my whaling has limits.

They're more of the rhythm-idol genre of games.

That's the one where she's dressed like a yakuza, right? God, that's a really great looking card. I'd love to have her as a unit, too. She's able to do spread damage with a change at debuff.

I like the rhythm games too, but something about CanColle really resonates with me.

I tend to run a long-range team, but I have M90 and Callie M950 for the heavy close and mid damage and debuffs.

I'll have to introduce you to some of my coworkers, we get together at lunch to play and roll.

I use those too! They're pretty power for cards that are only four stars. People tend to estimate lower ranked units, but what really matters are stats and skills.

And sure. If I start working there I'll probably see a fair bit of them too.

There are some incredibly viable cards at all rarities, it's impressive. Some of my coworkers like doing three star or lower teams challenges for the daily missions.

Yeah, and people who only focus on how "high tier" a unit is just end up losing in PVP too. It's always satisfying to beat a team full of five stars with my girls.

You heard they're going to be adding new units based on famous swords? The fanbase says it's betraying the premise of the game, but I'm pretty excited. I wonder if this could get senpai to play...

I heard about that! Some of the people in the tourism department are excited, but also keeping an eye on how this might increase the workload. Collab events are fun, but someone has to run them and keep them going.

It's a collab event? I thought they were going to be permanent additions to the cast.

And oh man, you have the Winchesters? They're supposed to be a fairly common roll, but I never got them...

I mean real life events. Museums, historical sites, cafes, etc.. Some poor intern in an office gets stuck with putting a flyer together for a promotional event a museum is doing, sends up a prayer, and then guess where that prayer ends up and who has to put the flyer together?

I got them in my beginner roll! I had a pretty good starting roll, I think it's the luck of rolling in this temple.

Man, they should give you a free five star unit for having to help with all that. At LEAST.

There's the rub; we're Far Shore, right? So as far as they can tell, the person sending them the flyer is some other intern handling things and they don't question where the info came from as long as it's right. Sometimes we send someone in to pretend they're coming from a managing company to do things more hands on.

And once in awhile, someone has to dress up and help out at the collab cafe. At least then we can leverage walking away with some promotional materials and game codes.

By the way, I think we still have some promo coasters and game codes around. I think they're the unique outfits from the New Year dessert cafe collab?

... I forgot about that. Damn, that must really suck.

... But. I will take you up on that. I'm usually not available to go for those kinds of things, even when I was back home. Last time was something about how the commander couldn't afford to fly me back to Japan for it when we had a mission overseas.

I definitely understand though. I keep seeing all these events or shows I can't go to because I'm busy working. I feel a little bad I get out more than most of my coworkers, but they keep telling me it's fine, that I'm young and I should enjoy things.

It's kinda weird considering how old some of the shinki there are? Like hundred or thousands of years old, but they look twenty or thirty or whatever.

... You kind of get used to stuff like that. I've known people that are thousands of years old. Most of them were my enemies, but heck, even Elfnein carries the memories of someone centuries old.
