Hey, thanks to everyone who helped look for my cat earlier. I really appreciate it. 

[Ren just wants to show his gratitude in an earnest way. It's something he should have done a while back.]

So a lot of time has passed since that incident. Here's a question. Do you have hobbies outside of your God and Shinki duties? I'm fond of reading and playing games.

I like to cook and to train. And sometimes when doing that it's nice to listen to either music or audio books. I also part-time as a language tutor, which I enjoy more than I would have expected. Plus I like to play with my cats.

[ And because he's recently not really had any shinki duties since Forrest disappeared, he's been hanging out at gyms a lot more than he previously did. (Even more so because he's named by Hibiki.) ]

I've figured some things out at least, thankfully.

Oh yes? I like a lot of variety but for example bisque, jambalaya, and lomi-lomi salmon for example. I don't have anything that's my absolute favorite.

That's a lot, yeah. I guess it's not a bad idea to change it up sometimes. Pick something new.

I've been learning how to make curry and grilled fish.

Great, then I can legitimately say that that is one of my hobbies. Though I probably would either way.

Somehow I feel like sleeping all the time would make me even more tired.

At least it's a stress free activity.

I also like to read when I can, but I find that most of my time here is spent training and going on missions. Perhaps it's time that I change that.

I can't say that I'm particularly good at the latter.

You need to learn how to play more fun games than that!! Thinking isn't important, it's acting!

I like doing lots of crafty things! Flower pressing and arranging, making cards and bookmarks... things like that! (๑ᴖ◡ᴖ๑)✿ I think I'm pretty lucky, though, because most of my simpler God duties are things that I'd likely be doing back home anyway.

Anyways, I read bit of everything. Youth fiction, detective novels, history and cooking.

If you ever get bored I can lend you some novels.

It's a lot of fun, especially if you enjoy making things! I have a lot of flowers around my temple this time of year to use, too.

I don't do a lot of reading in my spare time, but I'd be more than willing to try out any recommendations! Detective novels sound like they'd be really interesting Σ(-᷅_-᷄๑) Books about cooking could always be pretty helpful to have around, I'd imagine.

It might be better to read outdoors for a change.

May I recommend 'the young witch and the castle'? It's some kind of fairytale. That might be easier to digest.

Hobbies should be reserved for shinki who live in temples that don't need a lot of upkeep - either they're small with only one shinki around, or they're large with several shinki living there.

You think so? I live in a temple with another shinki. We hang out and do things together to pass time.

It's nice to relax. Try it out sometime.
