Bad luck isn't real.
Though I found out in this place curses are real, though you should be able to get rid of that with a ceremony.

Luck is a human concept, unless you talk to Fortuna here who will say otherwise, but luck can't be proven by science.

I have not since I don't think the god I am is capable of it. If it's anything like in the movies, you need someone trained in it and have certain materials, like smudging sticks and stuff.

Oh, it's easy to find that out.

Go to something like a lake up here in the far shore- it's gotta be deeper than you are tall. Because we're shinki, it's easier to do this test: You jump up high and into the lake. If you start floating up and reach the surface, you're bad luck or cursed. There's other tests to determine which, given how close they are in energy.

Then, once we know which it is, we can fix it.

I'm not sure, I'm so sorry. I probably should have looked that up. I would guess someone should know though, maybe there is something about it at the library? Or maybe the older gods would know?

I don't think any sort of person can be bad luck.

You can have bad luck and it can be really hard to shake sometimes, but it's no good thinking it's gonna be permanent. Something always happens to turn it around.

good stuf happens to me too but my gods and all ther other shinki keep disssappearing? almost all of them

Yeah, I have that problem, too, so I'm not sure I can really tell you how to fix it.

But you gotta keep a positive attitude and keep going or you're gonna bring yourself down. Maybe we can't exactly make good luck for ourselves, but we can definitely make our bad luck seem worse, you know?
