[ First there's a mess of blonde hair, as if someone turned the camera on a little too quickly and excitedly before being fully ready, but then Minako's face - with a big smile - fully appears. ]

So, everyone.. Valentine's Day is coming up, and you all know what that means! [ She moves her eyebrows up and down a few times. ] Of course I'm sure some of you already have found that special someone to spend that special day with, but there must be some people who are still worried about what they'll do on that day!

Well, if you're one of those people, then have no fear! You don't have to spend all day feeling down when you can instead dedicate it to finding the love of your life! That's what I'm here to help you with this year. You see, you can sign up for having one or more quick blind dates on Valentine's Day. Just leave me a comment here if you're interested, and tell me if you're interested in one date, or two, or three, or.. well, maybe someone will set the record for most blind dates in one day?

[ She laughs. ]

Anyway, once you've done that, people will randomly get assigned together and you'll be told the location of your date or dates on Valentine's Day itself! It's that simple!

And maybe by now you're thinking, "aw geez, Minako, I know you're a totally cute and super capable girl, but how could even you do all of that all by yourself?!" Never fear once more, since I have a super great partner in all of this who will tell you some more about this great opportunity!

[ Minako seems to reach for something off camera, muttering a few things under her breath at whatever is there, and then Chikusa is dragged onto the video. Not entirely willingly, from the looks of it. ]

[In fact, Chikusa definitely isn't willing, as is obvious by the fact that he is aggressively not making eye contact with the camera. After a few moments, perhaps giving into the oppressive sparkling atmosphere which is around Minako, he grits out a sigh.]

...No more than three dates.

[They have not planned for more than three. He refuses to do more work.]

Also... we need some people willing to clean up ayakashi on that day, too. There's a variant which seems to be getting worked up about this holiday.... So we need cleaners. Tell us if you're interested....

[After a second, he weakly tries to pull out of Minako's grip not too unlike a cat.]

[ Minako doesn't seem like she'll let go just yet, which means there's a lame and weak tug of war happening on camera right now as Minako tries to maintain her near sparkly smile. ]

Yes, let us know! Now how do I..

[ She reaches over to the camera - thankfully letting go of Chikusa - and manages to shut the feed off after a moment or two. ]

[ Still way off into her own inner happy lala land to consider this too deeply-- ]

Huh, who? Your boyfriend?

[Minako gets the pleasure of seeing Chikusa actually make an Expression (tm)- in this case, his nose scrunching up in distaste.]

Ew.

[All he needs to say.]

The other guy. That my god used to date.

[He still has no idea if they're actually dating right now. Hell, Hakkai and Gojyo might not. It's a huge pain in the ass.]

[ At least the fact that Chikusa made a Face at that for once makes more sense when he tells her who it is. The realisation dawns on Minako so much that it's even obvious on her face, letting out an "oooh" kind of sound. ]

So should we try to keep him outside of all of this? You know, so no poor people get stuck with him!

...No.... I told Hakkai that I wouldn't pick fights with him.... or talk with him at all.

[One of the reasons that Chikusa himself hasn't responded to him, frankly. His chin tilts in a little towards his chest.]

...I don't want him to call Hakkai and say I'm starting anything if I refuse him.

Geez.. Why would you get blamed if he's making fun of you? That's so unfair!

[ Although clearly Minako has no idea that this is definitely a two-sided thing between Chikusa and Gojyo.. But she's puffing up with indignance anyway. ]

Don't worry, I'll take care of this!

More like Gojyo is the one who tattles...

[Chikusa never does. He just cleans up the body like a responsible person- wait]

Besides, if I talk with him... It'll definitely be an argument. [He leans over her shoulder just to see what she might type.] Hakkai says Gojyo only does it with me as a proxy for Hakkai, or whatever.

Anyway... Goku asked him. And I did make a deal. [Bribe. Same difference.]

[ He's already been asked?! She feels kind of bad for whoever is going to end up stuck with him on a date, but if Chikusa says they can't get out of that deal, she's just going to have to live with it.

Not that it means she gets any less pouty. ]

If he has to participate, then.. fine! But I can't just let him make fun of you and not say anything about it, right? We're friends! Friends stick up for each other. That's the first rule of friendship!

Ah...

[This is... sure a weird feeling. Chikusa doesn't know how to handle it, shifting in place for lack of anything else to say. When it comes to things between him and Gojyo, he's gotten used to people... Well. He's not sure he can call it 'siding with'. Hakkai and Goku both seem to call him out, as far as Chikusa can tell. It's just... They always seem to give him the benefit of the doubt. Even if, in his opinion, Gojyo doesn't deserve it.]

[So it's... nice? It might be nice, that someone is firmly on his side. Ken counts, of course, but of course Ken counts. Ken is different.]

[Staying where he is, he just continues to read over Minako's shoulder.]

...Anyway. If he gets someone, maybe he'll fall for them instead. He sure doesn't seem to like Hakkai half the time anyway...

[Or Chikusa can hook him up with another asshole. He has options.]

[ Minako seems to consider what he's saying before letting out a long breath. ]

You're right, that'd at least be one good thing. Then he shouldn't have any reason to harass you anymore either. [ Because people insulting her friends isn't something Minako is planning on letting happen. ] I'll just have to make sure he's treating whoever he's on a date with on that day nicely. Thankfully I have my ways.

[ Minako Aino: master stalker. ]

I'm sure you do.

[It's going to be a mess, he can already tell. This is the girl who walked backwards to him when passing him by, and didn't know how to whisper. Well, she can do whatever she likes.]

...You know, the last time I said things about him, even he admitted they were all true. So...

Well, at least he's self aware then!

[ Because she already believed Chikusa was right about him - unconditional trust in friends! So she didn't even need to hear that to know as much. ]

Not that it excuses his behaviour though. Wouldn't anyone work on something that's bad about yourself if you know it's bad? Especially if it ends up hurting other people like your god!

Right?

[That has him getting worked up, because yeah. Yeah! Isn't that what people are supposed to do? Even if they're a messed up person like himself. Chikusa knows that much.]

Me and Ken used to fight all the time.... but it sucked making him miserable so I stopped.

[Well. He stopped ignoring him and being a dick. That counts. Not dying has proven to be harder, somehow.]

[ Minako has turned back to her phone for a moment to type up another reply to someone else, but then she smiles when she hears what he's saying. Not even in her usual over the top sort of way, but there seems to be something genuinely fonder about this one. ]

You sound like you like him a whole lot.

[Don't make this weird, Minkao. You know. By acting like a normal person. All Chikusa can do is shrug awkwardly, unsure of what else to really say to that.]

...He's my boyfriend.

Well.. Yeah, but there's still plenty of people who treat their significant other badly even when they're dating.

[ Which definitely is not something Minako likes. She'd kick every single rude lover's ass if she could. She kind of makes a Face at the very thought of it. ]

Like you told me about this person! [ Tapping the phone's screen where her text conversation with Gojyo is. ] So I'm just glad to see you treat your boyfriend so well.

I'd never be like Gojyo.

[Not when it concerns the people he loves.]

[Or dumb conspiracy theories.]

[Or getting his ass kicked by yakuza thugs.]

[Whatever, it doesn't matter. Chikusa lets out a breath, drawing himself out of his own head.]

Besides... we've been together as long as I can remember.

[ She sure isn't about to question him on that one. ]

Of course you wouldn't be! You're a good person. [ As.. far as Minako knows, anyway. She might have a slightly biased view of him, and definitely has no knowledge of some of the stuff he does. ]

But, that being said.. You totally have to introduce your boyfriend to me sometime, okay? I want to meet him!

....I mean, if you say so.

[He definitely knows all the things he's done, but, hey. Chikusa won't go into that right now. Instead, he kind of lowers his head, fiddling with his chocolates.]

...Well, I plan on having him meet me towards the end of that aquarium thing... Take him to the amusement park. He likes energetic things...

[No calm dates for Ken Joshima. Which is a problem, considering his boyfriend.]

I'll stop by and say hi for a second then!

[ Minako forcibly inserting herself into other people's business is pretty much a common thing, after all.. But she at least has enough sense to not just awkwardly third wheel it up-- ]

Just a second though! Don't worry, you two can have your beautiful, wonderful date afterwards!

Alright.

[This doesn't really bug him, after all. Besides, just weathering through a potentially weird introduction sounds a lot easier than arguing with her on the subject. Although... He tilts his chin up thoughtfully.]

Oh.... but Ken gets stupider around cute girls... So that'll probably happen.

.. "Stupider"? What should I be expecting?

[ Probably nothing she can't handle, but hey, it's good to be prepared and informed, right. ]

...Well... He basically lives up to his name.

['Ken' as in 'dog', after all.]
