Does ayakashi give off heat signatures? Or cold signatures, or do they read on other equipment that can be used to detect if people or animals etc are around? Anyone who knows anything about general ayakashi physiology overall?

I'd like to know if there is any way to determine where ayakashi hide or lay in wait etc when trying to find them.

I hadn't thought much about it, I'm sorry. I haven't um been terribly close to a lot of them yet, I'm not a fighter so I wouldn't be any use at all. I tried to take a picture of them on the boat but the photo got so blurry in the dark I'm not even sure if they show up on photos or not.

I've been up close on several occasions but it's hard to tell in vessel form, and touching them barehanded isn't exactly advisable. Taking photos in the dark is pretty difficult without specialized cameras, and using a flash would probably have disturbed them. And they're sort of shadows themselves so it's even harder. There is no need for you to apologize for that.

If it would be necessary to know it's something some people would still do. If one takes precautions it's not too dangerous to try. Yes, sometimes I open the camera on accident so there are a lot of photos that are just the inside of my pocket. It's embarrassing how many there are, I don't know how to delete them and it's embarrassing to ask Shingo-kun, I should know how this works at least a little bit but camera phones like these are new to me. I've only seen the old ones, these are so sensitive, you press on the screen, not buttons.

Anyway yes that can be a problem. You don't need to be embarrassed about that though, it's not like everybody comes from times or places where phones are common. These days my biggest issue with the phone's camera is my cats, they're very nosy and I have no idea how many photos of noses and paws that I have in my album. Deleting them is, there's a menu on the picture for example, or a button for it. Or hold it in when you're in the album, and then you can delete several pictures at once by marking the ones you want to delete. But I get it. I'm familiar with phones but they were much bulkier and didn't have touch screen, as far as I can picture them.

It's hard not to be, he's been here longer than I have and he's so young that it seems like he learns everything so quick to my eyes. He can be impressive with things. I miss simple flip phones. Kids are like that, they are generally very fast learners, particularly if they're interested. It gets harder as you get older. You could probably get a flip phone from the Far Shore, they're still very popular in Japan it seems. Unless there's some button on the sides that accidentally can get pressed by other things in your pocket then you should probably be just fine. They can be pretty nice surprises, and a guessing game. Thread isn't the worst thing you might photograph though.

It depends on the shop and the sales people. They're way more aggressive in some other countries. For example anyone could get stressed by the salespeople in the US. You will feel any intense feelings from any shinki named by you, so if he's in trouble you should be able to know it. Gods also supposedly can sense their shinki's presence and that way figure out where to go. And then gods can teleport, so you don't need to worry too much I think. Not that I've ever been a god myself so this is just hearsay and some personal experience from the other side of this coin. So if you understand you can imagine that it's a bit of a difficult question to answer.

People back there can be very much in your face. It's part of customer service to help anyone who looks like they haven't had any help. People are generally used to that, there.
