We understand that it is difficult to bear the unexpected loss of gods and shinki to whom you are attached. However, please bear in mind that we, too, find these disappearances to be a tragic mystery.

To clarify: I cannot bring back those that you may have lost.

Any violence against my home or my shinki will be met with a proportionate response.

We would like to ask if anyone is willing to accept responsibility for the shinki who calls himself "Sha Gojyo," as the god who we know to be his is no longer among us.

[She doesn't know Gojyo beyond their single in-person interaction (and single anonymous network conversation), and her impression is that he is an emotional, passionate person. If he'd go after her for mentioning Votelli, she can understand him doing something at the disappearance of his god.

It's a relief he is fine. Were he to be executed or punished in another way, things could sour very quickly.]

Is this a rule clad in iron? If one of your shinki was to attack another shinki, and that shinki killed your shinki in self-defense, would you call for their execution?

That would depend on the cause. In this case, a shinki launched an unprovoked attack on my temple and drew a weapon on my guards.

If my shinki were acting on my orders and within Heaven's laws, and a lawbreaker fought back against them, then I would feel the same way.

If one of my shinki were to behave unlawfully and attack a blameless victim, or become violent in a dispute, then my shinki would be the one who had acted wrongly.

[It is not an unreasonable stance, but it isn't one that sits well with Ginia either. Not when taking Ebisu's wrongful execution into account. A lawbreaker could be anything when Heaven sets the laws for all.]

Forgive me for another question, but if the Heavens are not responsible for arrivals and disappearances, who is? What other force is there?
