May the record forever show the true nature of Caster, Archer, and Lancer.♥
[Four videos and another text message go up in rapid succession.]
[Ginia offers a smile and a small wave before she begins signing. Her signs are smooth and clear, a measured speed for clarity. She's filming in her temple, the large den her backdrop.]
Hello, my name is Ginia. Awhile ago, I spoke to Lavi about offering sign language practice to his students, but was unable to reach out to his students due to life circumstances.
I thought I would ask now if any of his current students would like tutoring or someone to practice with. I'm also happy to help anyone that would like to learn sign language. We can work individually or in a group setting, whatever people would prefer.
Feel free to comment here or message me at [IC contact] any time. Thank you for your time.
[In the background of her video, as Ginia signs her message, Lancer enters with a full laundry basket. And a bucket of water? He sets the bucket down, sits on the couch, and begins folding the laundry. Or at least he attempts too. Never has someone struggled so much with folding shirts into neat squares. As he sets the folded clothes aside on the couch, one of the temple's large white dogs wanders in, climbs onto the couch, and flops on all of Lancer's work.]
[Upon reviewing the video and realizing the event in the background, Ginia decides to film a second video. Can't embarrass her fellow shinki after all.]
[The setup is similar, though this time the background is the kitchen. As Ginia records, Archer walks into view and sets some treats on the floor. A large white dog wearing a Hawaiian shirt sits by the treats. This continues until there are four white dogs lined up in the background, all wearing different Hawaiian shirts. Once the last dog - a small, wiggly puppy - is in place, Archer drops a pair of sunglasses on the first dog, winks at the camera, and walks out.]
[Dammit Archer!]
[The third video in the same big common area as the first. While the events in the background of previous two could have been accidents, at this point it’s clear the men in the background are doing it on purpose. Lancer is lying on the floor, arms spread out, and Archer and Caster are busy laying a pile of big white dogs on top of him. The first one doesn't protest, the second wags his tail excitedly, the third one is *unsure* but goes along anyway. There is also a small pupper that on her own decides to sit on Lancer's ankle. Caster is laughing and commenting but Archer looks at this masterpiece with critical eye - something is missing, something crucial. With sudden and strong pat on Caster's back, he sends him flying with a loud "geh" right on top of that pile.
There, perfect.]
[Ginia doesn't even try to record a message. A hand covers her face, shoulders shaking with laughter.]
[There's no point trying anymore. Ginia gives the camera an exasperated eye roll. In the background, the men have stacked on each other like a totem pole: Lancer as the base, Archer on his shoulders, and Caster on top shouting directions as the tower of tall trolls lumbers toward Ginia.
Ginia reaches to the side and pulls out a large, brightly colored plastic gun and begins to unload foam darts on them, hitting each one squarely in the face a few times. As they stagger and try to retreat, drawn by the noise and falling darts, the puppy and one of the larger dogs begun to run around their feet, tripping Lancer and toppling all three to the ground.
Shouldering the gun, Ginia turns back to the camera and winks.]

If anyone is interested in learning sign language, or knows sign language and would like someone to practice with, I'm willing to teach or provide practice sessions. These can be individual or group-based, whatever people would prefer.

My shinki has a difficult time with speaking, so knowing something like this would probably be very helpful. You can count me in for certain, and I'll see if she'd like to come along as well.

I happily welcome both of you. Any preference for private lessons or learning in a group? I'm also happy to work around your schedule, mine is fairly open and easy to adjust.

[Mischief met with mischief, it balances out more or less.]
A group setting might be good to start out with, I'd think, though I wouldn't be opposed to switching to private lessons if it becomes harder to coordinate everyone. Would you be planning on meeting somewhere specific?
no subject
I was thinking either my temple or the library. I'm also happy to travel to other temples for individual lessons. I'm also happy to field other suggestions.

A library might make for a good public meeting spot, I'd assume. Individual temples are always nice, too, though I suppose I don't really have much of a preference either way. Whatever ends up being most convenient would be grand.

Do you mind if I ask the name of your shinki? I'm curious if perhaps I've already met het.

Berserker! Petite but surprisingly tough, pink hair, all around adorable. ♥ I'm sure you'd know if you've met her.
no subject
I haven't met her, but I've heard her mentioned twice before. On my first day here someone mentioned her as someone else around that was mute. My god also mentioned her in passing.
Have you met Caster, but any chance?
no subject
She must have met your god at some point, I'd assume? Hopefully he spoke fondly of her!
I have not.

[And ahh... here's where it gets a little complicated. Best to talk privately.]
[Private text to Soleil/Freyr]
It was very neutral actually, more in relation to her name rather. Berserker. That him, the others in our temple, and a few around all have some commonalities.
Caster, Archer, Lancer, Saber, Berserker. He didn't tell me much because I'm a shinki and the less I know about the rest of the temple, the better. And naturally, I won't say anything to Berserker because I don't want to accidentally hurt her.
But I suppose if you ever had any questions, Caster might be able to answer them.

[Private from here on out]
Is that so? I do definitely see a pattern to the names going on here, that's probably more than just a coincidence. I can't deny that I'm a bit curious to learn more about her, I'll have to keep my eye out for a chance to talk to this Caster to learn a little more.
Thank you for the advice, and also for the discretion. Even outside of being my shinki, Berserker is very precious to me. She's very tough, but I'm sure you understand that I'd rather not have something dreadful happen to her, accidental or otherwise.
