Yo. Took long enough, huh? Nearly two months if you count it one way, month and a half the other way.

Anyway I'm over at my temple if you were looking for me that whole time. Sorry to keep you waiting. That's all I wanted to say.

[ A little cryptic, but he's not a particularly open person over technology, especially in light of how he died, and being pretty sure the guy's still around.

Well I wasn't lookin' for ya, but it's nice to see you all the same. It's been a while!

[Have a somewhat familiar face. Rin's only met Doku once, but he still remembers him. It's a perfect time to catch up, right? Though seeing Doku does remind him of something.]

This is good because I did wanted to apologize for the what happened a while back. With the whole...void thingy.

You're not someone I thought would be looking for me, let alone to apologize. How was any of that your fault?

It's not my fault, but I still feel bad. Even more horrible that I could do nothin' bout it.

[It hurts even more when it's someone you know, maybe not well, but well enough not to overlook Doku's death.]

So I'm sorry, and I'm glad that you're doin' better.

There's so many things about your life you CAN control. You start carrying around other people's burdens like that, you should hire yourself out as a bodyguard at least.

[ He means it in jest. Mostly. Because he's guilty of that sometimes too, and that was (mostly) his former job too. ]

[Rin nods. What Doku says is true, but he still feels he could have done more. It's his own guilt really. For now, he's just chosen to watch over Add, and to see if he can prevent something like this from happening again.]

Yeah? I think I could be a good one! A bodyguard, I mean. [He gives Doku a toothy grin.]

Though it sounds like you've been away? What have you been up to?

[ Doku nods back. ]

From that one spar of ours, I bet you could. Half of it's just a matter of guts. As for where I've been... it's what you already know, honestly.

[Rin seems pretty proud of himself about that fact. It's not beyond him to leap into the fray and put his own life at risk for someone else.]

[Rin scratches his head not quite getting it. Though he's dead, so he probably came across the same place that Doku did,right?]

Well this is the afterlife, I guess you can't go too far from here.

There was a forest too, but I've been wondering that from the beginning anyway - they say shinki are the ones who died to get here, but I might have been an exception all along.

Anyway you could always come by the temple and talk more - or spar again - if you're up for it, Gutsy Guy.

[Tilts his head to the side, not fully understanding.] You're an exception?

[Rin doesn't really get it, but he supposes this platform isn't the best way to answer these questions. At the offer to come over, Rin jumps at the chance.]

I'm down! I ain't doing anything! Just tell gimme the directions to your temple.

It's not hard to miss. A grassy knoll that's sunk into the ground with a rocky temple complex down at the center of it all. Looks like someone just smashed a big bowl into the ground, you know what I mean? New gods' district.

[He's never switched locations.]

[Rin tilts his head to the side. He wonders what Doku's temple looks like with that description, but it's easy enough for Rin to understand.]

Yeah, I think I can find it. Okay! I will be right there!

[ Literally. As Doku can see Rin dash out of his room, leaving the video running.]

[ That makes Doku chuckle a bit. ]

Alright, see ya.

[ Maybe Rin heard him. Maybe not. Apparently Rin left his phone behind. ]
