[Video] ಠ_ಠ
From: Yata
Posted: November 20
[ Yata's video feed snaps on late one evening, connecting him to the BBS, whether he'd intended that to happen or not - although from the surprise on his face and his sudden blinking at the glare of the screen that pops up from his watch, it's probably more likely not. But whatever he'd been trying to do, now that the connection is made, there's a look of both stark relief and very much freaking out obviously occurring here.
When he starts talking, his voice is barely above a whisper and it's obvious he's hiding somewhere in the dark. Maybe a closet? ]
Shit, guys, there's something weird as shit going on down here. I thought I'd help out with a prayer that sounded easy enough, some old dude who kept losing stuff or some shit... [ Yata, how much had you even paid attention to what was on that prayer? Obviously not enough. ]
Except when I got here, the house is empty and all this weird shit is happening and there are like... [ He stops abruptly, his eyes darting to something in the distance, and even in the video feed, the loud sound of footsteps can be heard echoing through the house. ] That keeps happening and I swear to god - gods? - there's no one else in this house and I don't know what the hell is going on. Did anyone else hear anything weird happening down-
[ And then there's a sudden distant crash and his eyes dart away again before he gets a curse half-uttered and the screen goes black. ]

action
But it may be a mutual kill because Fushimi figures that, given their lives, they may want a god on hand.
Like Izumo.
Who he grabbed before heading out.]
action
Because Izumo is not above giving Yata a look for this.
If Fushimi doesn't kill Yata first, Izumo will.]

On one hand, no more freaking out over ghosts that scare the shit out of him. On the other, now he's got an ayakashi-shaped pair of shoes that he can't destroy.
Although he has managed to trap it in a hallway with a Borderline for the moment. Although it does nothing to stop the items the shoes keep kicking at him from the pair of bookshelves at the far end of the hall. Books, collectibles, a trophy even, have come sailing past as sudden projectiles while he tries to figure out what to do. ]

[Fushimi comes up behind Misaki, ducking as a terribly porcelain cat goes flying at his head.]
no subject
Yata, what did you think you were doing? [Izumo sounds exasperated.]
no subject
The Borderline stays steady as he turns to flail at them both. ]
You're supposed to be in bed!
no subject
[He glances at Izumo.]
Rend it?
no subject
[Even if it isn't one of them.
Izumo is sorely tempted to say no. Let Yata deal with it, but it's an ayakashi, so...he sighs and nods.]
Come, Kyōki.

It was just a stupid prayer that wasn't even supposed to be fighting. Some old guy was missing some of his belongings. No fighting. No ayakashi. Just some misplaced crap. I thought I could help, because it sounded easy. I wasn't expecting.... this.
[ He gestures at the mess in front of him, his shoulders slumping a little, because this had backfired horribly. ]
no subject
Ready.
no subject
[Have an exasperated scolding.
He nods at Yata.]
Drop your Borderline. [Once Yata does, Izumo is going to rend that ayakashi.]
no subject
And dodging a picture frame that comes spinning towards his head. he does manage to catch it before it crashes into the wall behind him, however, saving at least one thing from ending up broken on the floor in all this mess. ]
Yeah, yeah, have at it.

no subject
[Even if Izumo sounds amused by it.
Still, with the borderline down, he's quick to rend the ayakashi just as it jumps at them.]
no subject
I'm not sulking! [ A pause, because even if he can't hear him... ] Shut up, Saru!

And with the ayakashi now gone:]
Return, Fushimi.
no subject
Thanks. [ There's another long pause before he adds, ] Sorry.
no subject
Tch, you wouldn't be Misaki if you didn't do something reckless like this and make me worry.
['Me'. Not 'Izumo'. Not 'us'. 'Me'.]
no subject
Then he looks back at Yata.
Please don't start being gross, you two.]
Just remember to bring someone along with you next time. [Yet, knowing Yata, he's likely to pull something like this again.]
no subject
Yeah, how about I just skip next time entirely instead? [ He sighs before glancing around him. ] You two better get back to resting. I'll... finish up here. At least the damn thing is gone now. Saru looks like he's about to fall over.
no subject
[He kind of does.]
There might be more. I'm staying.
no subject
Since we're all here, might as well just finish it together.
[Because he knows Fushimi won't leave Yata.
Izumo is fine with letting his shinki do most of the work here, but he'll stick around just in case.]
no subject
Fine, but dammit at least sit down. I can get the rest of it. it was my damn mess in the first place.
no subject
[But he's going.]
