In the aftermath of recent troublesome events, I've been reminded that I was going to ask this of all of you.

How many of you have abilities, whether natural, supernatural, or recently acquired, that can be used to track someone? Furthermore, if you're willing to explain it to me, can you tell me how those abilities work?

After all, if someone else goes missing, it's best if we all know who can help us find them, and don't waste time and energy.

I wouldn't say 'constantly,' but doesn't everyone enjoy a bit of self-deprecation once in a while?

Definitely a kind I don't understand. It's not masochism- that's enjoying having pain inflicted upon themselves, but that wouldn't include demeaning themselves or anything like that.

Is there some kind of type that's into boasting and insisting how inferior they are for attention?

Oh, that's a common type. I'm shocked if you haven't met anyone like that before.

But in general, aren't most people happier when others see them the way they see themselves?

Not that I've noticed.

[ He hasn't really met anyone that was openly that pitiful, as far as he could tell. Even the people he picks up on the Near Shore, at Izumo Xihe's temples, were targeted for being hot and having some confidence. Either that or they were part of some kind of triad, or some mix thereof. ]

I thought it was people seeing them better than they saw themselves. Then again, everyone's fucked up enough that I don't really care that much.
