Now that everyone's had a few days to recover from that disaster, does anyone have any idea what the fuck was going on in that forest?

Who knows. I don't really understand how humans think. [If they did, their own job might be a little easier before becoming a god.]

But I also wouldn't be surprised if it's something as simple as using to it take over the world or whatever. Why else do it after all?

...Actually, how did they figure this all out? Like, about where the forest was and they had to get those spells from somewhere.

[There was also the fact the cultists Emizel dealt with seemed completely oblivious they were even there. Or they were just very stupid lackeys. Either way something wasn't quite adding up.]

Someone else pointed out that the clearing we found them in was in the Near Shore. That doesn't explain how they found it or why it was connected to the forest here, but it's something.

That could simply mean anything too. It's possible that the forest already had some spiritual connection and the humans took advantage of it.

Did they say if there was anything else special about it?
