[This time Fushimi reaches out and yanks Misaki into his lap, wrapping both arms around him so he can't get free.]

[ He gives a startled yelp as he sprawls down into Saru's lap but laughs and concedes. For the moment. he still wriggles, though, trying to get comfortable. There's a slight flush creeping up the back of his neck. ]

[He says, burying his nose in Misaki's hair.]

[ Yata makes another sound, although this one is a little more strangled than the yelp from before. That flush is definitely spreading further now, and quickly.

Although there's still a fond look lingering on his face as he reaches up and playfully ruffles Saru's hair in return. ]

I know your mopey face. You can't fool me. I mean. It's also a lot like your bored face and your emotionally-constipated face, but there's still a little bit of difference.

[ Yata just grins at him.

And this time, he leans up, pressing a kiss to the very tip of Saru's nose. ]

[Fushimi blinks, stunned, before smirking.]

[ He slugs him in the shoulder. ]

[ Yata just huffs and crosses his arms over his chest and gives Saru a challenging look. ]

[ Yata blinks, freezing for a moment as he stares at Saru, speechless. And this time when the red creeps up the back of his neck, it's for a completely different sort of self-consciousness. But he's no longer settling comfortably on Saru's lap either, squirming to get free with intent this time.

He jerks to his feet as abruptly as if Saru had stabbed him, turning away and avoiding Saru's gaze. ]

[Fushimi frowns, letting Misaki pull away.]

Tch. I was teasing, Misaki.

[ About which part, though? He's not so sure. Even though he huffs and waves it off, like it doesn't matter. It shouldn't. It's a dumb insecurity and he knows it. He never said it was logical. ]

[ Yata freezes, looking confused as he glances back at Saru. ]

No. It's nothing. [ He shakes his head and looks away again, shrugging dismissively. ] You're not the first one to tease me about it. Neither is he. Probably won't be the last, either.

[ Yata rolls his eyes and shakes his arm free, although he's more upset at himself for letting this get under his skin just now than anything else. ]
