[ He groans and buries his face in his hands. ]

Saru. I don't know the first fucking thing about dating. But I'm already pretty sure I'm not doing this right.

Tch, you think I am? I just don't care.

[He tugs Misaki closer.]

I've got you, we're dead, and not in our home world. Why the hell do I care how we're 'supposed' to date?

[ He goes still again, blinking up at Saru when he tugs him back, confusion flickering over his face again as he searches his face. Saru always seemed to have so much of an easier time coming across as competent and capable. Next to him, Yata almost perpetually felt like a mess, unless they were fighting stuff. Even in this, Saru had seemed to somehow slip seamlessly into calling Yata his boyfriend and making actions like pulling him into his lap without warning, whereas Yata spent more time second-guessing himself or realizing afterwards - when it was too late - that he might have been missing clues he was supposed to pick up along the way.

Now... Now he just tilted his head in to bury his face against Saru's chest, huffing out a deep sigh at himself as he rested his forehead against Saru's chest. ]

You still manage to make it look easy, somehow.

Only because I'm greedy.

[He shifts to make more room in his lap for Misaki, resting his chin on the other's head.]

I like having a claim on you.

[thevanguard]

[ That gets a soft laugh from him, eyes sliding closed for a moment. ]

Possessive ass.

[ But he doesn't sound like he minds all that much. ]

If you're just now realizing that, Misaki, we need to have a talk.

[He huffs a sigh.]

[ No. he's known. He doesn't really mind that, either.

But he picks up his head, studies Saru's expression for a moment before one corner of his lips tugs upwards in the ahint of a smile. ]

I think we did enough talking today.

[ And before his insecurities could raise their ugly heads again and before he chickened out entirely, he leans in and impulsively presses his lips to Saru's in a fumbled, clumsy kiss. ]

[Fushimi freezes when Misaki kisses him before relaxing a little and returning the kiss. It's...really, really, really freaking bad, but hey. It's a kiss.]

[ At least the 'bad' part is over quick because Yata's quick about picking this up, sorta like he is about everything and after the tick of a few heartbeats when Saru doesn't pull away and reject him or make fun of him or worse, he actually relaxes a little. Fingers curl in Saru's shirt as he leans up to reach, lips parting slightly as he tries to figure this out. ]
