Has anyone seen Temeraire around or heard from him? Did he mention heading out to anywhere?

In case you don't know him, he's a black dragon with blue markings. He likes to swim or hang out in gardens.

Any information would be helpful.

[He perks up at that.]

Great! See you super soon, Alex!

See you. [She smiles as she hangs up, but once she does, she starts fixing her hair and trying to look a little more presentable. Alex didn't want to look too stressed out in front of him. She needed to perk up.]

You got this.. [And she teleports herself to the Meeting Hall.]

[As promised, Goten is near the front waiting for her. He's seated comfortably on a bright yellow fluffball of a cloud hovering just a few feet off the ground. He looks this way and that for any sign of Alex before spotting her when she comes into view.]

Alex!

[He bunny-hops off the cloud and runs over to her, arms wide. Regardless of if she moves to greet him or not, he's going to be hugging her upon contact. Her waist or her neck, its her choice depending if she bent down]

You were right, that didn't take you long at all. You got here way faster then I could find you on the near---far....Where ever you were!

[sing_for_me]

[When she turns to his voice, she automatically bends down as he runs towards her, catching him by his middle as he hugs her around the neck. It did surprise her, getting such an affectionate hug. How long had it been since she had someone so small hug her like this? She almost loses balance too.]

H-hey. Thanks again for meeting me---

[And then she posts the cloud in the back.]

......Is...that Nimbus?

[Goten smiles as he squeezes her a bit. Not too hard but it is a strong hug. Something to hopefully ground her and give her something solid to hold on to. He's not the brightest but he knows she's worried and he'll do whatever he can to help her. When his gods disappeared and he was alone, he really needed someone there and hugs so that much be what Alex needs to.]

Ahuh! I told you I would.

[He blinks slowly and parts just enough to turn his head to see Nimbus still floating there]

Oh yeah, that's Nimbus. Nimbus is a friend I made a while back.

[It did help, if the way she gripped at his back told him anything. She needed that, more than even she knew.]

A...friend, huh? [Not that she was going to question it out loud. If Goten said that was his friend, it was his friend.]

I..wasn't taking you away from anything, was I?

[sonofson]

[Goten shakes his head quickly]

Not-uh. Me and Nimbus were flying around looking for Temeraire. Now we can all look together so you're not taking me away from anything.

[sing_for_me]

[Alex looks at him for a moment before pulling him in for another tight hug, letting out a sigh.]

Thank you...

[sonofson]

[He blinks at that but returns the tight hug after a second or so. He gives a small nod, smushing his cheek against her.]

Mmn! You got me and a lot of other friends with you, Alex. So it'll be okay.

[sing_for_me]

[She still wasn't sure about that label..but he was right about some very kind people that were helping her out. Not that they didn't deserve it, but it felt too forward of her to call them that.

Another sigh escapes her as she takes in that hug. It was like he sucked away a lot of her negative emotions.]

Yeah..I'm sure it will. [Optimism was about all she had left after all.]

I've been searching around here but haven't had any luck..I was thinking maybe he's somewhere in the city.

[sonofson]

Then we can go look in the city. I donno if you can ride Nimbus or not but if you can't then I can carry you.

[Goten lets her hug him for as long as she needs to. He doesn't mind at all. If it makes her feel even a little bit better, then its worth it. He wants Alex to be happy. He knows she's worried and he doesn't really know what to do other then to offer her hugs and a searching buddy.]

He's a dragon right? So he can fly---I can do that so it'll be easy!

C-carry-- I cant make you do that..!

[Did he really think he could do that? Kids sure were confident over here...]

I'm okay with walking.

[sonofson]

Are you sure? I don't mind. I betcha you don't weigh much at all! There was this girl who use to be here named Lux and she said she weighed a bunch and I could pick her up easy!

[Goten laughs, grinning from ear to ear.]

I wanna help!

[sing_for_me]

............ [This had Alex pulling back to look at him. Was he..serious? It couldn't have been another girl his size if she said she weighed that much. It was still hard to picture though.]

I...yeah...I'm..I'm sure. [She laughs awkwardly.] Shall we go then?

[sonofson]

Yep! Ready whenever you are!

[He even gives her a playful salute]

[Alex stands, taking his hand before transporting them to the city. Cars drive by and people walk past them as they appear in the middle of a sidewalk.]

Goten...do you know if I'd be able to feel him if he's close by?

[Maybe then she could sense him again?]

[sonofson]

[Goten keeps a hold of her hand, it almost feels natural for him to. Though he blinks up at her when she asks her question. He pauses thoughtfully.]

Mmmm....I think you would be. Aymeric can usually figure if I'm around but that feeling is really strong whenever we're in trouble or feeling something, I think. I don't know the god side of things too well but you should be able to feel something. God or shinki, there's this weird connecting bond thing...just feel that out.

[Her free hand clutches over her chest.]

Has he..ever mentioned not being able to feel you?

[sonofson]

[He pauses thoughtfully before giving a slow shake of his head]

I don't think so....not to me anyway.

[sing_for_me]

A..ahh.. [ She squeezes his hand a little more.]

[ She searches around for about an hour with him, no sight of the giant reptile, before taking a break. Alex would keep going, but she doesn't want to push Goten.]

Do you want something to drink, Goten? Or eat, maybe?

[sonofson]

[Goten is worried. An hour of searching and no luck. Surely someone as big as Temerire shouldn't be that hard to track down. Though at the mention of food, his stomach answers before his mouth can. There's a loud rumble]

....F-food actually sounds really good if that's okay?

[He smiles at her apologetically, patting his stomach.]

[sing_for_me]

[That was quite the sound.]

Of course. Is there anything you feel like eating? My treat.

[Somehow, he managed to distract her from the worries of how long it was taking to spot Temeraire. It was still there in the back of her head, but she can at least do something for the boy in front of her.]

[sonofson]

[Goten's face lights up instantly at that.]

i donno anything but I like cakes and stuff!

[Yes Alex, fill him up on sugar!]

Eh? Have you eaten a proper meal today though?

[She didn't mind if he wanted a snack, but just cake wouldn't be good for him.]

[sonofson]

Proper?....Uh, Aymeric made me breakfast this morning and I had chicken nuggets later on. Does that count?

[He's not really concerned about that though. He's a kid with a sweet tooth]
