So... this banquet thing. Is it mandatory? Because I honestly can't think of anything I'd rather do less than put on uncomfortable clothes and be in a big crowd of people I don't know all night. Anybody want to have an anti-banquet where we sit around and watch sentai shows or giant robot anime or play video games instead? Can that be a thing?

I have nothing against the banquet, personally, but watching sentai shows or giant robot anime would be so much more fun! I don't know why, when such amazing entertainment is available, it isn't shown at every opportunity! There's so much to watch that one could devote one's entire life to it!

I've never played video games, though. I've seen them advertised, but I have no real concept of how it works. Is it difficult? Could anyone do it?

I've never been to one, but I'm not really a big fan of crowds. So yeah, anime is way better.

Video games aren't too hard to learn, depending on the genre. I like puzzle games and open world sandbox type games.

We had nothing of the sort 800 years ago! If we wanted to do battle with vast hordes of enemies, we had to gird ourselves in armor and ride forth to do it in person.

I figure they have parties like this every so often as a good opportunity for people to network, but yeah, they can be kind of a lot.

What if your party get to be too big too, though?

Yeah, I guess that's a concern too. I didn't think video games and anime would be all that popular.

I'm just saying, it could be a pretty big hit. Probably not the same kind of crowd that a heaven-sponsored banquet's gonna get, but it does sound a little more appealing than some kind of formal meet and greet, and there are plenty of people around here who prefer casual get togethers like that anyway.

It's the name of a genre of live action television shows about a transforming team of color-coded superheroes that fight against aliens or monsters or robots or ninjas or whatever. There's lots of bright colors and explosions and sound effects and stuff.

It is way better. All I need is the sentai shows. And the giant robot anime. And the video games. And a TV.

Alas, I was born of too noble blood for a simple title and there can only be one King of Knights. Still, I made a name for myself in the Crusades, so most overlook my failures as a king.

Besides, I've been staying in a robot for the past couple of weeks, watching shows about them isn't exactly escapism at this point.
