So... this banquet thing. Is it mandatory? Because I honestly can't think of anything I'd rather do less than put on uncomfortable clothes and be in a big crowd of people I don't know all night. Anybody want to have an anti-banquet where we sit around and watch sentai shows or giant robot anime or play video games instead? Can that be a thing?

What's a sentai show?

It's the name of a genre of live action television shows about a transforming team of color-coded superheroes that fight against aliens or monsters or robots or ninjas or whatever. There's lots of bright colors and explosions and sound effects and stuff.

And I'm guessing the sound effects are what makes it fun?

I mean, all of it is supposed to be fun.

Not really, doesn't seem like there's enough fights.

I must not have explained it right, then. Fighting is pretty much all sentai teams do.
