So... this banquet thing. Is it mandatory? Because I honestly can't think of anything I'd rather do less than put on uncomfortable clothes and be in a big crowd of people I don't know all night. Anybody want to have an anti-banquet where we sit around and watch sentai shows or giant robot anime or play video games instead? Can that be a thing?

Giant Robot Anime: A genre of Japanese animated television centering on humanoid robots piloted by people. The robots vary in size and shape, but are nearly always much larger than the humans themselves.

Play Video Games: Video games are an electronic amusement involving direct interaction with a user interface to generate visual feedback on a video device such as a television or computer monitor.

A Thing: In this context, it is meant to imply that this is something I want to do instead of the party.

I guess that makes sense. His robot is pretty cool.

Is his robot... really normal? Or advanced?

It's definitely more advanced than anything I've ever seen.

Well that makes me feel a little bit better about not understanding how it works.

Well... it's more like it won't make sense right away, and the explanation probably won't be worth it.
