[Surprisingly, Goten’s name pops on the network, and at first, the video shows nothing but voices can be heard: Goten’s and a deeper voice that may sound familiar to some.

It’s not long before Goten notices the device and his face pops up, looking excited.]

Hey! Everybody! I found him! He’s still here! I found him, I found him! Look!

[The device bops with Goten’s bouncing as he moves it to show a familiar blond, practically shoving the camera into Izumo’s face.

Izumo looks at the camera, lifting a hand in a sort of wave.]

It seems I’ve caused a bit of a ruckus when I left, if what Goten told me is right. [A glance at Goten before he looks back at the camera, giving a smile.]

Sorry for that.

[Goten’s hair is practically the only thing viewable of him as he holds the camera more on Izumo like he’s going to disappear otherwise.]

You should invite everyone to your new place and make something yummy. I betcha they’d like that.

[Izumo chuckles, ruffling his hair.]

Right. Anyway, [He looks back at the camera.] for now, you can find me at my bar, Double Cross. I doubt I’ll end up disappearing anytime soon with Goten clinging onto me.

[Actually, there’s a bit of a pause and he has to look at Goten.]

My bar is still in one piece, right?

Uhhhm…..I dunno, I think Shizuo was pretty upset you were gone to…

[That doesn’t make it assuring.

Izumo sighs out and gives a nod to the camera.]

In any case, if anyone of you want to find me, I’ll be there. [And with that, the video ends.]

Ohh....

[He sort of remembers that. Kind of... Goten just keeps smiling, scratching the back of his head]

You should of woken me up. You haven't even been back that long! It hasn't even been a day...

[-and his attention is on the food. Even his stomach grumbles a bit. He's missed Izumo's cooking almost as much as he's missed Izumo overall.]

Just a few?

[Goten doesn't understand why hasn't everyone in all the Far Shore stopped by. Izumo's been missing, didn't they miss him?]

You needed the rest, Goten. Besides, I went around checking the bar while you slept.

[Back for one day and already back at work.

He gestures for Goten to come eat.]

Just a few. Kurosaki, Yona, Eric, Yata, and Nanako all stopped by.

[Not everyone knows him, Goten.] Leo and Aymeric commented.

But I wanna hang out with you.

[He almost pouts. What if Izumo disappeared or it really was a dream? But what's done is done, he can't turn back time and Izumo is still there so it's okay. Goten quickly climbs up into a chair in front of the counter. He starts to dig in but some of the names make him blink and peer up from his food.]

Eric did?

[He's a little surprised by that, he doesn't try to hide it either. He's a little upset with Eric but he's glad he stopped by. He really liked Izumo too so Goten is glad Eric got to come see him.

It was only for a few hours, Goten.

[He notices that and looks at him.]

Yeah, he did.

Yeah but you could have gone away in those hours or something, I donno...

[Goten frowns a little but quickly focuses on the food instead. Give him a second, he's stuffing his face. Of course he can't eat without shoveling it into his mouth and eat like someone that hasn't been fed in days. Though once he does clear the plate, he sets it down. Good food~!]

I'm glad Eric did. I was sorta mad at him for saying you were gone and not helping me look.

[He understands why but still.]

I'm still here, aren't I?

[Ah.

Izumo ruffles his hair.]

Maybe it'd be good for you two to talk to each other later. I invited him over for dinner.

...I'm happy you are. I was thinking maybe I dreamed it. I'm really, really happy you're here Izumo.

[He lifts his eyes a bit, staring at him. Though the mention of Eric and him talking makes his cheeks pout out.]

I donno I think I upset him a lot of times. It might be better if I don't bother him for awhile...

[Another hair ruffle.]

I'm happy to be here, too, Goten.

[No wonder.]

You two should talk. The longer you don't, the worse it can get.

[The hair ruffle makes him feel a bit better. Heck, Izumo just being around makes him feel so much more at ease.]

How can it get worse if we don't do stuff?

That's exactly why. It's good to give him a chance to cool down and let him be alone for a bit, but sometimes it can't be good either.

[He looks at him.]

That's why you should talk to him soon afterwards.

What do I say? I just wanted him to look for you 'cause I didn't think you were gone--and you're not.

[He found Izumo even though others pointed out the obvious.]

Just talk about anything.

[Izumo slides a glass of water in front of him.]

You two are friends and it's normal sometimes to get mad at each other. All you have to do is just talk.

I guess so...

[Goten looks as unsure as he sounds, frowning a little at the glass of water as he holds it between his hands on the counter. Izumo is smart, he shouldn't doubt him but...]

Well, Eric's coming back for dinner tonight. He'll be helping me.

He is?!

[Goten stares. Now he's gotta think of what to do even sooner. That's no fair Izumo!]

...Guess we'll talk super soon then.

[Goten is happy about that but also conflicted. How do you talk to Eric. He does fine when he doesn't feel bad or is thinking about it. Maybe he can get the moody teenager to play a game with him or something. Though there is one other thing bugging him.]

So you're really a god, Izumo?

He is.

[Smile.

This is what happens when Izumo comes back.

At the question, he nods.]

It would appear to be that way.

Does it feel weird? You don't seem any different. Did you get stronger or something?

[He's trying to understand why that happened. Izumo is still Izumo, he's so grateful for that but why is he a god?]
