[Surprisingly, Goten’s name pops on the network, and at first, the video shows nothing but voices can be heard: Goten’s and a deeper voice that may sound familiar to some.

It’s not long before Goten notices the device and his face pops up, looking excited.]

Hey! Everybody! I found him! He’s still here! I found him, I found him! Look!

[The device bops with Goten’s bouncing as he moves it to show a familiar blond, practically shoving the camera into Izumo’s face.

Izumo looks at the camera, lifting a hand in a sort of wave.]

It seems I’ve caused a bit of a ruckus when I left, if what Goten told me is right. [A glance at Goten before he looks back at the camera, giving a smile.]

Sorry for that.

[Goten’s hair is practically the only thing viewable of him as he holds the camera more on Izumo like he’s going to disappear otherwise.]

You should invite everyone to your new place and make something yummy. I betcha they’d like that.

[Izumo chuckles, ruffling his hair.]

Right. Anyway, [He looks back at the camera.] for now, you can find me at my bar, Double Cross. I doubt I’ll end up disappearing anytime soon with Goten clinging onto me.

[Actually, there’s a bit of a pause and he has to look at Goten.]

My bar is still in one piece, right?

Uhhhm…..I dunno, I think Shizuo was pretty upset you were gone to…

[That doesn’t make it assuring.

Izumo sighs out and gives a nod to the camera.]

In any case, if anyone of you want to find me, I’ll be there. [And with that, the video ends.]

[ She stares at the message on her phone in disbelief, because... he's back?! She still can't feel him, the connection she'd had with the name she'd given him completely severed away, but...

Izumo is back!

She doesn't bother with the phone, merely grabs her cloak and teleports immediately to just outside the bar, rushing inside with wide eyes and slightly out of breath from her surprise and hope. ]

Izumo?

[It's fortunate Goten can be a heavy sleeper when he wants to be, given how loud her entrance had been.

But Izumo does look up when he hears the door open, immediately giving Yona a smile in greeting from where he's behind the bar counter.]

It's good to see you, Yona.

[ She has to fight off the sudden urge to cry, lifting a hand to rub at her eyes, even as she does her best to give him a warm smile, so relieved she feels dizzy with it. ]

You... We all thought the worst. I couldn't feel you anymore, and... [ She stops, swallows back the emotion choking her. ] You missed the potluck. Dummy.

[That earns a soft chuckle and he moves around the bar to walk closer to her.

Once he's close, he places a hand on top of her head, giving her a smile.]

I did and I'm sorry for that, but I'm happy that you still went with it, anyway.

[ The feeling of his hand atop her head prompts her to move where emotion couldn't, before, and she flings her arms tightly around him, as if to make sure that he really is solid and real and here. ]

[His other arm wraps around her in a comforting embrace, his hand remaining on top of her head as a constant reminder that he's here - he's back. It's odd to know that there isn't a name on him anymore, the little connection that bound them together, but it's still utterly relieving to see her here. So, he returns the hug, allowing Yona a moment to have it all sink in.]

[ Eventually she manages to sniff back the emotions that had overwhelmed her enough to pull her head back and peer up at him, offering him a small, shy smile. ]

Welcome back, Izumo. We missed you.

[Izumo smiles softly at her, a light pat on her head.]

I'm happy to see you, Yona. It's good to be back.

[ She takes a moment to search his face. ]

Can you tell me what happened?

I went home.

[Izumo pulls away and gestures her to take a seat.]

Or I assume I went home. It's a bit odd, so I'm not quite sure how to describe it.

[ She follows his gesture and moves to take a seat at the bar, unwilling to take her eyes off him. ]

You... went home? You remember home?

[ Oh yes, she hasn't missed that. ]

I remember home.

[He smiles at her.] It was quite an experience.

[ Her eyes go wide at this admission, the realization of what that meant sinking in as she just stares at him for a moment. ]

You're not a shinki any longer?

[ Hadn't Kija mentioned this same thing had happened to him? But for Izumo... ]

No, I'm not.

[He shows her his hand where her name for him used to be. There's nothing there anymore.]

[ She reaches out and brushes over the spot with her fingertips for a moment before looking back to study his face. ]

How did this happen? You... you remember everything now? From both lives?

That's what I'd like to know myself, but I do.

[It's heavily unpleasant to know that he's technically dead still.]

Oh, Izumo. [ Her hand shifts to clasp his now, a warm grip. ] That must be... very confusing. I don't know whether to say I'm sorry, or to be relieved. How are you?

[It's...comforting to feel that.

And Izumo smiles slightly.]

Well, it's an adjustment. I can't say for sure whether or not I should be grateful to remembering everything.

[ She gives him a sympathetic glance, because she remembers what she'd seen, in those few brief moments when she'd named him. ]

Are they unhappy memories?

[His smiles turns strained.]

Bittersweet would be the best term, actually.

[ She gives a soft hum and squeezes his hand gently. ]

Would you like to talk about it? Sometimes it helps me get my thoughts in order if I voice them aloud.

Thank you for the offer, Yona, but I'll have to politely decline this time.

[Because it's not...something he'd want to ever talk about, really.]

[ She just gives him an even look, not backing down. ]

Then consider it a standing offer, should you ever find you're changing your mind.

[He gives her a smile.]
