[He stops suddenly, clutching at his own chest and flushing a little.] You would strip me?

You don't need to be embarrassed. [He shouldn't be at all, as far as Kija is concerned - that's what he thinks, although of course he can't explain it.] I am your comrade, after all.

I wouldn't call it embarrassment.

[He just has a distaste for it, for some reason he can't put his finger on. It's ugly, on top of that, and would distract from his beauty.] Do you need to see it?

[But it's important and it's part of who they are! Obviously, however it's supposed to be part of them besides the physical aspect. Hmm.]

Well, you have seen my hand, so...

It's not the same if you have no trouble waving your hand around...

[That huge ass hand cannot be hidden, and Kija doesn't want to hide it anyway??]

[He wore a sling for like an hour, the first day... He was sort of bullied into this, whatever.]

The strength is unmistakable, but that's not the same.

[He tugs the cart along from his side, heading that way.]

We couldn't show our faces at the temple if we returned with anything but the best.

I wouldn't allow it. There are many options here, just like with the milk...

[So that could be good thing or a bad thing, depending on how you look at it. He stares over the selection for a few moments before picking something up.] You could hand her one of these.

[He passes a box of chocolates over to Kija.]

[Kija takes the box, scrutinizing it for quality. Not that he knows what he's looking for, but surely if it were in some way inferior, it would be obvious...

And ah, wait.] You said I could—?

[Nope, nnnope, he's holding the box out not back to Jae-Ha but at arms length, like the mere suggestion that he hands a big honking heart to Yona could make this box bite him.]

I couldn't— something so brazen...!

[razzledazzles]

[Jae-Ha's going to innocently scoot away to look at some of the other chocolate.]

[bighand]

[Don't leave him with this thing, where does he put it??]

Because it's inappropriate?! It isn't my place to— [you KNOW] I won't do it!

I've heard that gods can feel the emotions of their shinki.

[He's not taking it back, he's busy picking up another cute little box of chocolates to inspect it!]

[Kija drops the heart box in shock.]

Jae-Ha, do I seem too emotional...? Do you think she's being disrupted?

[He's just putting this box back when he hears the heart drop. Ah... did he go too far? He bends down to pick up that chocolate heart and stands just in time to place his free hand on Kija's head.]

Not at all. I think your feelings are a comfort to her.

[bighand]

[He's honestly worried about this now, but the obvious connection between being worried about Yona feeling his feelings and Yona feeling his worrying is lost on him. He blinks out of it when Jae-Ha pats his head, glancing up at him.

Jae-Ha... truly is a good person. His chest hurts a little...]

Even so, we should be more discerning about the chocolate.
