I was curious, apologies if this has been asked before, but what are some hobbies people could pick up?

I'm trying to get used to this world here. I'd like to do something more than train...

Except fishing. Fishing I've already gotten a number of lessons on.

I was a knight, you know? Protecting the king and his land was one of our duties. [ Also drinking a lot, and being insufferable bums too. The Red Branch Knights were nothing like the knights of Arthurian legends, those tin-cans closer to Diarmuid times. Being all solemn while clanking about duty and chivalry wasn't the thing yet back then. ]

My grandfather led a warband in his youth, before he settled into his role of the chief druid. It was nothing strange.

Ah! A caster as a knight! That's quite impressive, you must be very strong. [He assumes you're mainly magic based with limited, but strong, spear based abilities. Please correct him.]

Knight first, the magic is just a bonus- my teacher was a powerful warrior but also incredibly skilled with magic - she taught me both skills.

[ And ah, sure, he can tell stories, that much he owes to his shinki-- hah, telling stories: that's what druids do. ]

She was a real pain in the ass. Carrying herself like a queen, but her heart was of a hermit. [ Despite the words not being nice, he speaks of her with clear fondness and nostalgia reserved only for best memories. ]

She sounds like she's a great teacher for you. [He means that nicely, but Caster can take it as Lancer teasing him, of course.]
