It happens a lot, but you gotta know that it's not your fault.

Even though it really sucks, especially when it happens just AFTER all the new guys show up. That's when they usually assign you someone new to serve, so now you've gotta see if you can find someone on your own.

I'm sure someone will, though! I know it feels like you shouldn't ask, but I'm sure there are gods that wouldn't mind.

Yeah, the way people are talking it sounds like this kinda stuff happens a lot. But how do I find out which gods are hiring? Go door to door?

That's what people told me to do! I don't know how well it would actually work, though, since I ended up not having to do it. Maybe you should check with the new gods that showed up recently. If anyone might not have one, it would be someone new, right? Or does that not make sense? It made sense when I started typing it.

[Maybe he's a bit overly sensitive to this idea, since he's so incredibly attached to his god, and the thought of him disappearing is his biggest fear. This is why he looks like someone just kicked a puppy.]

Like you've been told, it really is possible for your god to come back. I've seen it happen. But... well, you do need someone to be with while they're gone regardless of if they come back or not. There's no avoiding that.
