My guess is he's another god. Can't hurt for you to be social and meet new folks. So make nice with him.

But I have a name. It's on the network, or so I'm told. I just thought that Alan might be my god, the way he made me feel. I can't describe it. What if I'd rather be with him?

Well that would leave me Shinkiless and I can't have that but... maybe this Alan guy and I can share you as a Shinki or something?

I don't think anyone gets a say in any of this, Eric.

Believe me this is no my ideal either. But a God needs a Shinki and they can't work alone. I mean if you're into this guy I won't stop you from pursuing him or whatever if that's what you're worried about.

Mostly, I don't like feeling like all the decisions are being made for me. You're seriously cute and this has nothing to do with you. It doesn't really have anything to do with him either. I don't know why I reacted to him the way I did. I just thought I could learn about all of this on my own. I didn't expect this.

Maybe later on if you and this Alan dude get on or whatever maybe we can trade off. I mean I'm assuming if he's a god - I can just take your Shinki name off of you and take whatever Shinki he had or another one that comes available. I'll agree to that.

But for right now, what choice do either of us have?
