Can someone please explain to me why I would ever want my coffee or tea to taste like pumpkin? That or these other ridiculous flavors they seem to be adding to cream? Honestly.

The flavors are meant to be seasonal. Since we are entering Autumn, I suppose pumpkin is soothing? It does seem a strange tradition to me as well, but my world does not experience shifts in the seasons nearly so often.

I suppose I can understand individuals having a taste for certain foods at various times. However, what is wrong with a simple pumpkin pie? I do not see why everything I drink, and apparently eat, as well, must also be pumpkin flavored.

I would not call it harmless. The scent alone is exceptionally overpowering.

Why indeed? It seems to ruin the natural taste of the coffee to begin with. Nontheless, it does seem rather popular with the youth.

So it is more of a marketing gimmick than anything truly useful. And there is a vast difference between enhancing the natural flavour of a drink and completely changing it into something that shouldn't even be considered a beverage.

Because I do not expect you to make me any form of food or beverage. Regardless of how well you normally brew my morning coffee. But, was it honestly necessary to purchase so many of these odd creamers?

Yes, save that horrid pumpkin flavor for visitors. Or better yet, give it to Sutcliffe. He seems to enjoy it.

It's an American staple. Specifically a basic white girl staple in America. Novelty drinks like that are what my generation is leaving behind for future generations. Sorry, buddy.

why would you not just make a hot drink out of pumpkin instead
it would be a very thick drink but if you use the food processor machine i have found that things become very much like liquid after some time

While I cannot say a beverage made purely out of pumpkin sounds any more appealing, it certainly makes more sense than ruining a perfectly good cup of coffee.

Pumpkin? I didn't know there was coffee and tea with that. Hmmm, maybe they like to experiment? You know, to spice up their day a little bit with new things. There are a lot of things like that, such as the tea-flavored candy bars I saw the other day.

Or maybe it's medicinal and pumpkin helps with something? Like ginger?

Someone else mentioned a tea flavoured candy, as well. Green tea, I believe.

If it had some sort of health benefit, I should think they would offer it year round.
