The world is a stage, and all people are actors. Cast as they may be in average existences, their hearts long for the exceptional.
Romance fiction steals them away and bestows upon them the highest-quality present. Presented with the form of the ideal partner, their parched souls find respite and sate themselves at the spring of desire. The words upon the page are like guiding swans whose every wingbeat lead the reader to Paradise. No tawdriness can disturb them.
The love offered by Romance is love in its purest form, love unsullied by flaws or sentence enders. It's a noble task best undertaken only by the finest purveyors of prose and phrases. Don't attempt it if you don't feel up to the task.
