How do you write romance stories? Or any sort of fiction.

I suppose that's true. Although wouldn't the person who'd been there when you discovered the story also recognize the talk of romantic stories and know who this was?

The rest of us wouldn't know one way or the other.

They've probably forgotten about it. I doubt it was memorable to them.
