How do you write romance stories? Or any sort of fiction.

We were talking about a known love story and I criticized it. She said my idea was romantic.

No, doesn't matter. A lot of them sort of read the same anyway.

I like the less tragic stories better though. Ones with less drama. That way you can really focus on the romance.

So there shouldn't be drama?

[sharkmaid]

Well, there can be. Depends on who you're writing for, I guess. But if I'm reading it, I don't want to be too stressed out with stuff like that.

I came to read romance, after all.
