How many of us had experience fighting before coming here? Or after? Seta Souji, Hououji Fuu and I were thinking about setting up response teams considering what's been happening lately. That's part of why I'm asking. I was training to become a pro hero at home, so I've got a little experience fighting. I know hand to hand well. I can't really say I'm a martial artist, but I know a few moves that worked for me.

If you'd like to learn self-defense, I'm happy to help. But if you want to trade lessons I'm fine with that too.

There's also an armory in one of my apartments. I don't really use any weapons, but if anybody needs something from it like weapons or armor, it's there. I'm not sure how much it'll help against ayakashi but it's better than nothing.

I mean Bona Dea itself is actually a name and it means "the good goddess." It feels a little smug to be honest...

I give people the option but it seems silly, to call myself something that grand. But whatever you prefer to use is fine!

It's what you're called by, it only makes sense to want something you're comfortable with.

If you think that way, then what are you more comfortable with being called, Midoriya-san?

Midoriya or Deku is fine. Deku's a nickname I've had for a long time and it's my hero name. Midoriya is my name, so I like that too.

Then I'll keep calling you Midoriya-san! My friends at home wondered about my using honorifics so I didn't want to make you uncomfortable with that, either.

I don't mind honorifics at all. Though most people use -kun for me.

[iyashinokaze]

I use -san for most of my friends. I feel like I should respect my friends a great deal.

I use -san for my female friends and -kun for my guy friends.

[Because even now, he still feels a little awkward around girls.]

Really? That's very polite of you...

You too, Hououji. I guess it's just what we're used to.

That is true. But now that you've asked about combatants, I might take the chance to talk to anyone interested in being trained in first aid or with healing or defensive magic.

That's a great idea. I don't have any experience with magic or healing.

[iyashinokaze]

To be honest, I'd still consider myself a novice with magic. Where I'm from, there simply isn't any. But it's better to have some knowledge than none at all.

We don't have magic where I'm from either. [Just genetics, but you know.]

How long have you been using it?

I learned around three years ago! It's not an always thing. It's been very calm for most of that time.

[fullcowl]

Must be nice to have some peace and quiet. Not that I mind fighting for it.

[iyashinokaze]

We had to fight quite a bit for it, ourselves. But I would never say no to peace--it means everyone is safe.

Heroes work every day to make sure people are safe. That's what I want to do, protect people, save them.

[iyashinokaze]
