I finished deciphering the data I collected last month. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, my detailed findings can be found here.
The coordinates within the portal turned out to be a bit more complicated than I was expecting. I was only able to complete a partial scan at the time, but I've already identified well over 100 vastly different spacetime coordinates within the data. It's possible that my Dynamo suffered an undetected malfunction during the scan due to the disruptions in spacetime, but it would be incredibly unlikely to see such clear and varied results due to an error. The more likely explanation is that the portal leads to a space connected to multiple dimensions at once, causing my Dynamo to pick up on numerous coordinates simultaneously.
Unfortunately, this means it's difficult to determine what coordinates belong to the "hub" dimension, let alone where any of the other coordinates go. Dimensional travel of this scale is also beyond what I'm used to. I'm working on adapting my technology to be able to visit or remotely scan these dimensions more efficiently, but using my current methods it would still take a miracle to find any of the places or people I'm looking for, not to mention an absurd amount of energy for even a single trip.
So what I'd like to know is, who here is familiar with interdimensional travel and open to the possibility of collaborating?
More specifically, I'm looking for anyone who has experience with initiating travel or observation between separate dimensions and/or setting the coordinates. Technological methods are preferred, but I'm willing to try and work with magic if I have to. That includes any gods whose domain might include something like this, even in an abstract sense. I'll take whatever I can get, provided it's of use to me.

Unless this transportation can cross through dimensions, I can't see it being all that useful in this situation. Moving through three-dimensional space instantaneously is something all gods can do in this world. What I'm trying to do is reach a place that doesn't exist anywhere in this universe.

Before I had become a god, I was born with a natural ability to go at incredible speeds due to being born with a set of engines in my calves. It is a "quirk" that has been passed down my family line for generations.
Now, as the God Idaten, I have found out that I can warp from one point to another point and the distance I go depends on just how fast I use my quirk.
no subject
So it's a form of teleportation based on your existing abilities. Perhaps if the speed is enough it could be used to cross dimensions, but compared to teleportation within the same dimension it'd require a exponentially greater amount of energy. If it's an ability based on physical capabilities, it may not be possible to reach that high of a speed without damaging your body. Have you tested the speed:distance ratio at all?
no subject
Even though my Engines are mechanical in design, I am 100% human. I think the best way to describe my talent is to think of it similar to the next step of evolution. There are three different ways for quirks to categorized. There are the Emitter types- those that produce or can alter certain types of materials. There are also the Transformation type of quirks- those that could alter or change their own bodies on their own will. The last time of Quirk is the one that I and the rest of the Iida Family have- the Mutant Quirk. Mutant Quirks come in many different shapes and sizes but they are usually the physical sort that either enhance natural abilities or can cause bodily changes.
I have done some preliminary tests and so far here are my results; If I use my third to lowest speed I can teleport a half mile from my current location and only in a straight line. The same rules follow when I use my next level, only this time I can go a full mile instead. I also have two natural attacks that are effected as well. One of my attacks is called Recipro Burst, and with that it boosts my speed even further and it makes me harder to avoid, and then there is Recipro Extend. I can only use Recipro Extend after I use Recipro Burst and recover from the cool down effect. Recipro Extend is my maximum speed. Now when I use my God powers along with Recipro Burst I can go a mile and a half and with Recipro Extend I can go a full two miles.

I'll take a look at it. Having something to compare the data to should at least help speed up the process of adapting my technology.
no subject
The code is on a chip, so I'll have to bring it to you. Up to you where you want to do the exchange.
no subject
Copying a piece of data is no problem at all. For something as complex as dimensional coordinates though it might take awhile.
Whenever you have everything together, you can meet me at this location. [and he attaches the directions to a fairly small and quiet cafe. if he might have to spend some time waiting for a huge file to copy then he wants coffee, damnit.]
no subject
It won't take me long, half an hour at most. [And he certainly plans to be at the assigned location within the half-hour, though definitely not without his usual air of wariness. He's still not quite used to meeting up with people on the Near Shore for things like this.]
no subject
[He's sitting by himself next to a window whenever Shun shows up, tilting his chair back with his feet up on the table and a coffee cup hovering next to his head with the aid of a dynamo. At least he's easy to spot, not that there are many other people here at such a late hour.]
no subject
This is what the data's stored in. Obviously a standard computer can't read it, but I'd assume whatever technology you have access to can manage. [He nods a little at the coffee-holding dynamo.]
no subject
... okay, he's seen some odd forms of data storage before, but this is a first. Card keys are one thing, but to store something as massive as dimensional coordinates on a flat card? Is this thing made of paper?? How the hell does he get the data out?
But Shun's already put him on the spot, so of course he can't say he's unsure. He scoffs, putting the card back on the table for now.]
Of course my technology can read it. I can rewrite the laws of time and space, opening a simple data file off this will be a piece of cake.
no subject
As it is, Shun seems ambivalent towards the display of confidence, shrugging slightly and crossing one leg over the other.]
Then I'll leave that up to you. As for the other part... [Given how Add had described the work of his machines, Shun figures it's at least worth asking about this, and he pulls out what appears to be some kind of specialised computer. It's purple and grey, with a rounded screen and pointed body, and currently, there's no sign of any other cards in or around it.]
You mentioned scanning inside the portal. I'm guessing you can scan objects for that kind of data as well. I'm not letting this out of my sight, but you might still be able to get the information you need if you can do something like that.

Would you be able to meet to discuss it?

I don't see any point in attacking you for no reason. The information I'm interested in sharing is the schematics of monitoring devices created by my second to last god, who was investigating the process of appearance and disappearance of gods and temples. Before his own disappearance, that is.
[And not only is Ukoku long gone, but Hakkai sees no reason at all not to leave Heaven forewarned against him in the event of his reappearance.]
text; private
Interesting. I considered something similar myself, but deciphering the initial scan was my main priority. Did he ever make use of these devices?
text; private
Nonetheless, I don't plan to hold it against you, unless you think I should.
I believe he was still troubleshooting them when he disappeared.
text; private
All I'm saying is I haven't let my guard down. Try not to overthink it.
A device like that should be no problem for me. I'll take a look at it.

[And, true to his word, he shows up only a couple minutes later. Teleportation is handy.
He's still keeping his Dynamos nearby, though, even if it's pretty unlikely that Hakkai will attack him. He leans on the robots like a portable wall, waiting patiently for the other man to arrive.]
action
Hakkai teleports there, himself, appearing half a minute after Add with a small notebook and pen in hand. He offers the other man a faint inclination of his head in greeting.]
I'm glad you didn't have any trouble finding your way.
[Nor was it hard to spot him. His robots stand out.]
My third god, Ni Jeni, was involved in experimenting on the modified ayakashi that Susano'o created, as well as investigating the appearance and disappearance of new gods and temples. He hadn't managed to directly observe any to my knowledge.
[He flips the notebook open, and sets about neatly removing a page.]
This is the schematic he showed me of his layout of the observational devices. Some may still be in place.
action
I'm not familiar with a Ni Jeni. That's too bad. [if he was another scientist of sorts, Add would've liked to meet him. it doesn't sound like this god is still around, though, if Hakkai is freely distributing his research like this.] I'm not surprised he had difficulty observing the event on his own. It seems that whatever force decides when a god or temple is removed from this world, it tends to pick a time when no one would be present or conscious to observe it, for whatever reason. We need to think outside the box to be able to get around that.
[Time travel was Add's solution, though it may have been slightly overkill compared to the much more simple concept of planting devices to spy on people.]
So he did complete some of these devices after all? How very useful. Do you know where any of these devices might be? Even an unfinished prototype can collect useful information every now and then.
action
I believe he did, and I believe they were in place. This is where he had planned to put them.
[Hakkai spreads his hands in a tiny shrug.] Unfortunately, I don't know if any of them are still there, much less operable. It's been a few months, and he hadn't collected any useful data at the time of his disappearance.
action
I'll check on them. Since most of the work has already been done, it'd be a waste not to make use of them somehow... ah, but if he was collecting data it'd be important to know where the information was being sent. It'd make more sense to transfer it all to a central location over storing it on the scattered devices, but if that's the case then the files might've been lost with the temple... if they're still operational there might be backup files stored on the devices, though...
no subject
[He shakes his head, frowning thoughtfully.]
It's possible there's backup storage in the devices, but if not, I hope you can at least make use of them going on.
If they're still there, that is.
no subject
... Anyway, with the blueprints I can repair or replace any damaged ones quite easily. I'll likely have to remove most of them for upgrades either way. [He folds up the sheet of paper, tucking it in his jacket.] You've been quite useful this time, so I'll let you know if I discover anything interesting.
no subject
[He's sure Ukoku would be mildly annoyed to have someone stealing away his machines for their own modifications, actually, but the thought of Ukoku's annoyance amuses him.]
I could give you the time down to a few hours myself, if you're curious. Should I come across anything else of interest, would you be interested in trading information?
no subject
I already said I'd tell you if I found anything interesting, so of course I'd expect the same in return.
no subject
[He offers a polite bow, and turns to go.]
no subject
This is way beyond anything I know. [In fact most of it he doesn't really follow at all.] But if you find out what happened to this guy, could you figure out how much time passed in that dimension too?
[Presumably if that portal open back to their own world. It's worth knowing if/when Emizel should start worrying about how long he's been gone for.]
no subject
If we were to create a point of reference by travelling from dimension A to dimension B and then back to dimension A, the illusion of the passage of time would be created. However, this would be determined by a variety of factors during the travel, not by any true difference in time between dimensions A and B. Even travelling between very similar timelines within the same dimension can result in unintended gaps if you don't account for temporal flux or other natural distortions. If you're moving between dimensions that are extremely far apart the flux would be even more difficult to manage.
In short, it depends on the method used to travel and what the intended return point is, so even if I found out how much time passed for someone else that might not mean anything for you.

[And now that he's got less to lose... he's more willing to try it. Of course, he means travel to the Underworld, but as he'd said he's not all sure what Add meant either.]
Voice;
Travel between worlds like this one and the worlds we originate from, yes. Elaborate. What sort of ability do you have?
Re: Voice;
[Accident as in he tried to get it go literally anywhere else and it didn't work.]
Voice;
... Have you entered this other dimension yet? What does it look like?
Re: Voice;
You curious enough to join me?
