Hello, everyone. It's been a while since I've made an announcement like this, but I'm afraid I've been a little busy lately. I hadn't intended to stop taking clothing commissions, but I've been training with Lady Orihime over the past few weeks to learn more about creating divine raiments and it's been taking up most of my free time. I've finished my first major project, though, so I've got a little more flexibility lately.

I still won't be taking commission work until I've finished my training, but I do have enough time to open the temple up for beauty treatments. The pools in the garden behind the temple have healing properties and help keep skin soft, and I can also do hair and nail work for anyone who's interested. In addition, I'll be teaching a sewing class once a week at Hakkai's school. And once Lady Orihime is satisfied with my progress, I'll be able to start making clothing again too. So if anyone is interested in any of that, feel free to let me know and we can either set up an appointment at Lakshmi's temple or get you enrolled at the school.

[Forrest smiles, nodding at the feed.]

[He makes his way immediately to the temple, and gave a knock on the door. Even when Forrest was his god, he still wanted to treat him nicely.]

[Forrest appears at the door soon after, opening it with a smile.]

Hello, Niles! Please, come inside.

Thanks.

[He nods, smiling back as he steps inside.]

I appreciate the help.

Of course, it's no trouble at all.

[Forrest leads him to the audience chamber, which has at this point become sleepover and makeover central.]

Have a seat anywhere you like.

[There are comfy pillows everywhere.]

[He'd love a chair, but he's getting a haircut, so he's not going to complain. Flopping down on one of the pillows, he lets out a sigh.]

Just straighten it up, please.

[It's definitely been through the ringer, and getting cut with a weapon was not helpful to it.]

All right. I'll clean it up some and then you can tell me if you'd like it any shorter.

[It probably would have been a better idea, but at least the pillows are extremely comfortable. Forrest kneels down behind Niles with his scissors, getting down to work.]

Sounds good to me.

[He sighs, shutting his eye and just relaxing.]

So. Anything new with you?

I've been spending most of my time training with Orihime to learn new fashion techniques.

[Snip, snip, snip.]

I did recently take in a homeless shinki, though. He's a friend of Kairi's, and she mentioned me by name, so I would have felt bad turning him away.

Sounds like something right up your alley.

[Just humming and relaxing.]

Ah. You and Kairi are very close, aren't you?

[sorry, he can't help it, he likes to pry.]

Yes, it's been very rewarding so far. She's a wonderful teacher.

[The enthusiasm in Forrest's voice is quite plain, though it does give way to slight sheepishness at the topic of Kairi.]

Ah... yes. We actually started dating on the last night of Tanabata.

Glad to hear that. Your father must be proud of you.

[When he hears about the dating, he just lets out a chuckle.]

Well, congratulations on that. Seems like all of us are in love now.

I hope so. I'm sure he'd rather I spent my time mastering Brynhildr.

[He doesn't sound as worried about it as the words might indicate, though.]

Yes, it seems so! I'm so happy for everyone.

Your father only wants what makes you happy.

[But he knows Forrest isn't worried about it. They know each other better than Niles knows Forrest, for the most part. So, he isn't concerned.]

Has he told you anything about his lover? Think he might be trying to keep me out of the loop for once.

I know. I'm grateful for that.

[The warmth in his voice is quite evident.]

Aymeric? Only a little. I haven't met him yet.

You're very lucky indeed.

[He smiles, sighing.]

I haven't gotten to know him too well yet, unfortunately.

Maybe we can all have dinner together sometime and get to know each other. Myself and Kairi, you and Zoro, and father and Aymeric.

[He finishes up with the snipping.]

Sure. It'll be fun to dine together.

[And torment Leo a little bit about his relationship.

He moves his fingers back through his hair, seeing how long or short it was.]
