Hello everyone. May I please have a moment of your time?
I have had the opportunity to meet or speak with some of you before but for those of you I have not, my name is Kaede. I am exemplar to Fuujin-sama.

Allow me to personally apologize for the mix up that happened earlier today. We have been shifting things around and it was still a work in progress. But those issues have been resolved over the last few hours.

All newly arrived gods should have personally received a notice from myself or been approached and told the name of your shinki by this time. It will be a little strange at first but please do your best to work together.

If there is anyway I can assist any of you further, please let me know.

This was very much a learning experience that will not be wasted. The other shinki and myself have adjusted things accordingly so this doesn't happen again.

I DO appreciate the effort and communication you're putting forth to all of us. That's very important, especially when it affected so many people.

Exemplar or not, it's pretty despicable if you're handling all of this on your own. This Fuujin should be taking some of the responsibility themselves. He's a god- he should admit his shortcomings!

Fuujin-sama was not apart of anything that unfolded. It was a miscommunication among various different groups of shinki that were responsible for today.

I do not think Fuujin-sama could of done too much even if he was present.

[She means this respectfully. This is public. Botan hasn't had the chance to meet the short-tempered wind god yet after all...]

That's not any better. This is something that affects both Shinki AND Gods.

They should have SOME responsibility and involvement. (ФДФ)

As for the miscommunication, just please take measures to ensure it doesn't happen again. (ΦωΦ)

We were able to meet up after everything was sorted, yes. The poor girl is really going to need all the support and encouragement she can get.

I'm not completely sure what happened yet, but there's something about this place that has her positively terrified!

I do not know you personally, Botan...however, I believe you will be able to support and encourage her just fine. It will probably ease her fears too.

It seems to be related to her previous time here, though I don't want to push unfortunate memories back to the surface for her. That seems like it'd just be cruel at this point.

however I am not quite sure how to compensate for the mix up or what would be of interest to you that is within my power to give.

No, this particular issue was a first of it's kind. But it should not happen again.

Your arrival, while predicted and expected now, is still a new thing in this world and not everyone has adjusted to it so there will always be things to improve upon.

You say it 'shouldn't', but there's no guarantee it won't again.

Would it be wise to assume then that not even the older gods aren't completely aware of what brings us here?

I say 'shouldn't' because while there are things in place now, I cannot control everything myself. I would rather not give an without a doubt answer unless I can promise such a thing.

We know when new arrivals will arrive. It's almost like clockwork but as far as I know, the reason of how or why is still unclear.

It shouldn't simply be you who should come to talk to us about these things. While I'm unaware of the older gods, it'd be more potent for one of them to speak to us themselves.

I understand your point however my god was not involved with what happened. Requesting him explain anything would not go as smoothly as he would need to be informed and be the one giving second hand information. I cannot speak for the other older gods, of course...

Fuujin was not apart of this other then asking me to get involved.

Fuujin is your god. A god is responsible for the actions of their shinki. If this incident was your fault, then Fuujin is also accountable.

There was a miscommunication and it has been fixed. I assure you Fuujin-sama will handle my errors accordingly.

If Fuujin doesn't, another might.

I don't want to be rude, but it seems like there's a lot of miscommunication when it comes to pairing up gods and shinki. When I arrived I was told to enjoy myself at the festival and my god would find me. It was actually a little worrying.

I'm glad someone is taking responsibility for this though.

Also, is there any way to change my display name on this BBS?

I really am sorry for that! This is actually the first time it has gotten this mixed, its usually a much smoother process. I know that doesn't sound very reassuring but if there's anything I can do to help.... You are with your god now, correct?

As for your question; to my knowledge there is not... Unless you want to be anon.

I am. Sharak-san is...interesting but I think we'll be able to work out. At least she's up front about her attitude.

And it's good to know that someone is trying to fix stuff and isn't just letting it go. Even so, do things like people turning into kids happen often around here? Is somebody behind it? Or something?
