[The video opens up on Fushimi standing by a pile of hay stacked in a vaguely humanoid manner and some throwing knives stuck in it. Fushimi pulls them out and shows the camera that all four of them are pretty normal. He moves back, still visible in the camera, and prepares to throw throw two of them.

They catch fire and the hay-target starts to burn.]

That's normal.

[Fushimi grabs a nearby bucket of water to douse the flames before throwing the next two.

These gain a strange bluish aura that seems to make them sharper or at least more durable. The hay-target is obliterated.

He turns to the camera]

That only happened a few days ago. Someone want to explain it?

[Or: Fushimi freaked out when he saw Munakata's Sword during the event and accidentally called on the blue aura. So that's a thing!]

[ While he had just let out a horse he had taken for a ride when he had smelled burning hay, and had gone looking for it. It didn't take that long to find the source and it's just in time to see him set the hay-target on fire and obliterate it. ]

What're you up to?

[ He's curious, and that's what he both looks and sounds like. It's not every day that you see a person make something spontaneously combust. He's only seen that once, though it was a little different. ]

[Fushimi picks up his phone, shutting the camera off.]

When I got here, I realized I could set things on fire, knives or whatever. The other day I summoned a blue...forcefield when that giant blue sword appeared in the sky. I'm seeing if anyone else can do the same.

[ He nods, recalling that he saw the giant blue sword the other is talking about? ]

That’s sure somethin’.

[ He won’t ask if he knows how he has it, because if he didn't know he had it it’s unlikely that he knows that. ]

You practicin’ to figure it out or somethin’ a the sorts?

Mm. I don't know if you can use it when I'm in vessel-form, but either way it will make me more useful in battle.

[ He nods. ]

We can try’t out later if ya want, but it’s more important you’re comfortable with it, I'm thinkin'.

[...some part of Fushimi is so uncomfortable with how kind Butch seems to be, but he's chalking it up to being his god.]

It comes naturally to me. I'm not sure there's a way to get more comfortable with it, unless I get answers I don't like.

[ He has a friendly disposition by nature, and it’s one of the reasons why he was liked even by people he robbed or was hunted by. ]

That so? [ He scratches at his black curls while he watches the young man. ] There ain’t no way’a knowin’ iffen that’s gonna happen, but it comin’ naturally to ya ‘s good enough for me. I wouldn’t want ya to be any uncomfortable with it.

For now, y’need any help with that? [ He nods toward the mess that’s left after he fried the straw. ]

[Fushimi doesn't say anything about Butch's comment about it being good enough for him that it comes naturally. He's not sure what to say to it, honestly.

He does look at least a little guilty about the fried straw]

I can get it. It's my mess and I don't want the horses eating it.

[ That he’s thinking about the horses is also good enough. That he doesn’t want to feed it to them is enough to make up for the guilt in his mind. ]

Yeah, it wouldn’t be much good for ‘em to eat that. If ya change your mind on help, just tell me.

[ Not too much shouting though. Only a few horses are in the stable right now, the rest being outside, but they might get unsettled by shouting. ]
