What do you believe happens to gods and shinki when they die?

When we die, all our hearts go to the same place. I haven't been here long yet but I don't think gods and shinki are any different in that.

So you believe that if a god died here, they would be reborn here as a new god?

I don't know what would happen… What I meant was that I don't think that it matters what kind of being we are when we die.

In death everyone is the same.

A lovely thought. But there are so few of us here. If all who die are treated the same, why were we singled out?

But do you really think that this place is the end? That there is no going back to where you originally came from?

That's an interesting theory. The gods and shinki who were here before us don't have lives to return to, but we may be different, you're right.

Do you believe you will regain your memories and return home when your work here is done?

Well, I still have my memories from home… but yes. I know I have to find a way to return at some point.

I have responsibilities... a duty to fulfill there.

Not in my home world, no. But there may be a world out there where they do.

In this world, there are stories of the dead returning. Their bodies continue to decay, and their souls are corrupted. Do you think you will be able to accomplish your duty in such a state?

You think I'd come back as a zombie? I'd have to be dead for that in the first place.
