[The video is at a weird tilt as Owain seems to be having difficulty getting the phone to balance. When it's at least steady he backs up a bit to get fully into view.

Then he poses, hand partially obscuring his face, dressed in the armor he came to this world in.]

Good day to all the gods and weapons to thy gods! I am Owain, the hero beyond life and death, and I am in search for some aid.

As you can see, I come from battle. My sword, though, remains sheathed and my talents untested since I arrived. My hand quakes with unreleased desire to see what all I can do.

[Dramatically, that hand does shake on cue.]

I am also... lacking in skills that seem common to this land. My revelations have not helped me this far.

So I entreat any of you willing to test your selves or give aid. I wish to spar and test the skills that are my birthright, and will meet any who wish to do the same. I also wish for your assistance in teaching me the skills needed to operate these phones we were given, and possibly other things from the shores far and near.

My past may be a mystery, but my future is destined for conquest over our enemies.

Well, you got the basics on how to make a video. There's a lot more to it, but that would be a show and tell kinda deal. Like apps and how to use the internet. Get the right app and ya can watch cat videos all day.

I'll assume that made sense to you and these are not things made up.

Why would I make up anything about the wonders of technology? I ain't no liar. I'd go crazy without my phone. There's only so much people time I can take before y'all wear me out.

I do not feel the emotional bond you hold with your phone, but maybe, one day, I will come to understand its secrets and the truth to its soul.

There's not really any secrets if you're a technophile. Me? I'm all casual about my love for it. Hell, I forgot where I put it once for three days. All my plants died.

But I guess that's not the point. If you want lessons, gimme a time and place. My god can text me if he needs me.

Yes, the magics that come with my new found form are still beyond me. Either my talents in such are limited or, most likely, I just have yet to unlock them!

[His goddess did at least tell him about them a little before leaving him to his own devices.]

Between the new tools and magics, I feel like there is a great deal of potential waiting to be unleashed.

Don't worry, that's how it goes for all of us shinki! I didn't know about spells either, until I had Borderline down, and I didn't know about Borderline until another shinki taught me.

So it seems only right I keep trying to teach others in kind, you know?

You are a kind soul, which is apparent even through a tool such as this one. Your sense of duty and purpose is admirable. The borderlines are a thing I know I must put to practice and will appreciate your help.

Is there a place we should meet to practice such?
