Fight me.

[That simple text was sent out, along with brief directions to the front of Inanna's temple. He wanted to get stronger and test out his new weapons-besides, no one could complain he started the fight this time.]

[Killua pouts.]

Geeeeez, was it really that boring? I thought you put up a pretty good fight last time~

[Well, he was certain he'd remember someone as annoying as this little shit, that's for sure.]

I don't recall ever fighting a brat like you before.

[And hopefully Killua would be able to tell that Hibari's confusion was genuiune.]

Booooo.

[Killua makes a noise of annoyance, but then spreads his legs, looking very relaxed, but obviously ready to fight any moment.]

Should I remind you, then?

[disciplineking]

[Hibari gave almost smirk, practically invisible. At least someone got the spirit of things.] I think it's me who should be saying that to you.

[The shinki's tonfas suddenly appeared in his hand as he leapt forward on the attack. He didn't remember Killua's speed at all, but he did swing his left weapon down in a crushing blow.]

[Without much effort, Killua just slides to the side enough for the swing to miss him completely, moving to aim a hard chop at the back of Hibari's neck in the same move.]

Yeah right, you're way too slow.

[If that was intended to knock him out, Killua sorely underestimated Hibari's hardiness. He did get knocked forward, and it did hurt, but all it did was further fuel his fighting spirit.

Maybe he was going to need his new additions sooner than he thought. Without a pause, Hibari kicked backwards, swinging around both of his tonfa to complete the action.]

[Killua lets out a whistle, letting the new attacks land, throwing him backwards, but he still manages to stay on his feet somehow as he grins at his opponent.]

That's not bad! My chops are pretty hard!

[disciplineking]

Maybe you're losing your touch.

[Killua should feel impressed. Hibari hardly ever makes jokes, even while fighting. Other than that, the Cloud Guardian ignores it and jumps forward again, swinging his tonfas in a series of blows at the kid. This time, he was almost expecting Killua to dodge, as he'd pressed something on his tonfa that made blades slide out of the top.

If he only dodged slightly, he'd be getting cuts everywhere the tonfas struck.]

[Killua's not an idiot. When he sees blades coming at him, he makes sure to get well out of range. He jumps away like some sort of ridiculous acrobat, dodging left and right and even underneath Hibari before jumping back and well away from the other.

Seems like his clothes got a little tattered in the fray though. Huh.]

Man! And I just got these...!

[He pouts.]

[Could've fooled me Mr. eat all the chocolates and threw up but that wasn't the point here. He made Killua dodge more than usual and it meant he was getting somewhere. Besides, they had hit his clothes.

Who was he kidding-Hibari wasn't sastisfied with such paltry rewards. He needed to make it look like this was the only trick his tonfas had right now-the Cloud Guardian was starting to get used to the kids speed, even if it was still a huge pain to keep up with.

He didn't give the kid a moment to rest, just rushing after him as soon as he landed again, spinning his tonfas around in an almost confusing set of blows if his opponent wasn't dreadfully skilled.

...that was until one of the blades snapped off. It shook him off his balance a little bit, as he snarled at the stupid piece of machinery. Apparently it wasn't hooked on strong enough.]

[Dang, this guy is not about the banter, huh? That's alright, though, Killua can handle a little bit of banterless fighting, though he probably won't stop needling the other himself.

He finds himself having to just drop and roll to get out of the way this time, and even then he can feel the blades whirring past him. When he straightens again, he just laughs as he looks at Hibari.]

Looks like you messed up~

[Obviously, he could take this opportunity to land a blow on the other, but... he's actually having fun with this dodging thing, honestly.]
